Students can get scholarships like swami vivekananda merit cum means scholarship.
Companies like tcs, wipro, info, tejas network, grant thomson, pwc india, ibm, etc, and the placement percentage is also so good approx 90 percent of students get placed.
The campus is so beautiful and peaceful . the natural environment is there so i liked it

Dislikes

Fees is little bit high so it is a problem for a middle class guy
From the last 3 year's there is no fest organized due to students fight
There are no boys hostel inside campus which is not good

Remarks:

Positive portion is students get lots of opportunities to learn and apply in real life and also they got prepared for jobs and higher education but everything has it's good and bad portion like this college's exam questions are too though to answers.

The college is a very good one. Everything is fine. The faculty, the laboratories, the infrastructure, the juniors, the seniors and everything. Just the management should be improved with some good people rather than some of the narrow minded typical Bengali people

I am a student of west Bengal. I decided to study biotechnology after completing Higher secondary exam. I searched at Google. Ask my teachers and relatives for which college will be good for this stream. They all said this is good.

Remarks:

There is a negative side that there are transportation problem. You have only one cheep option for transport which is Auto. You can take cab also but cab is little expensive for the student. But there is one solution that college provide bus for the students with monthly charges for different places.

Problems in our colleges

Remarks:

No scope for core branch students they don't care about us and there is no projects for students like in other colleges they make formula one cars also their is no placements for core branch students. I would prefer to stay in non core branch if they want to come in this college.

BEST IN WEST BENGAL FOR ENGINEERING

Admission:

I got admission in this college through wbjee exam. I got 3200 rank in wbjee so i was able to get admission into cse branch of hitk,kolkata.this exam is taken only in kolkata so if you are an outsider you will have to come to this city to give the exam.after results counselling also takes plce in kolkata only.this is a 3 step process.so you can come for counselling as per your requirements.

There is everything negative from me. Positive things are very few. The canteen is very good. The football grounds are good. Infrastructure of the is good. But sports department is only for school students, not for us.

Heritage Institute of Technology is the best private college in Kolkata with good campus life. A senior of mine is an alumnus of the college and he always speaks about its infrastructure, placements, and campus facilities.

Location: - It is located near the prime market of Kolkata making it well connected to communication services.
Fees: - The fess has been increased slightly but if admission is granted you’re are eligible to apply for a study loan
Labs: - All the facilities and the technologies in the lab are up to date and well equipped for ease of handling by the students.
Professors: - all the professors are highly experienced, some with a Ph.D. degree, and they are well known and acknowledged in society.
Library: - Fully stacked with books, articles, research papers and has access to many foreign libraries accessing outside files.
