IERT Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From 7th semester students become eligible for placement. IERT has its own placement cell and recruiting staff that helps in the hiring process. Companies like TCS, Wipro, HCL, Magic bricks, etc. The college also allows to focus on GATE, ESE and other government examination and do not pressurize for attendance. Our many seniors score good ranks in IES & IAS examinations.

Students are offered placement from 7th semester only through online and offline mode. Many companies like TCS Wipro arrive in college. There is a placement cell that is highly active for placement. The average package is around 3to 5 lakhs per annum

TECHNOLOGY IS THE FUTURE WORLD , EVERYTHING IN FUTURE WILL DEPEND ON TECHNOLOGY THEREFORE TO ENHANCE THE TECHNOLOGY ENGINEERERS ARE REQUIRED . THEREFORE PERSUING B TECH MAKES YOU A PERFECT AND COMPLETE MAN. IN EVERY SECTION TOTAL STUDENTS INCLUDE 70 TO 72 . IN EVERY YEAR TWO SEMESTER TAKES PLACE.

Students become eligible in the 7th semester for placements. IERT has placement cell and recruiting staff that helps in the hiring process. IERT placement cell makes proposals to the companies and the companies accept invitations and come for the hiring process. The PI and HR round is conducted with the required tests. Companies like L&T, L&T infotech, magic brick, Accenture, TCS, HCL, Wipro, Mahindra, Syntel, etc, and many companies visit. The average package revolves around 5lakh per annum. the placement is maximum for the CSE branch. Since the placement are not so good in this college so students start preparing for GATE and IES from 1st year itself and many students qualify with top 100 ranks in these exams. The college also allows to focus on these exams and do not pressurize for attendance.

Average placements of this college for all the branches is 3 - 4 lakhs but for CS and EC average is approx 5 and on campus highest placement is 14 lakhs . Placement depends on your skills as more you can develop you will get much more in off campus placement. Here most of the students prepare for government exams and GATE. I think highest rank in GATE is 32 or 33 from IERT.

From 8th sem students are eligible for campus placement, Tcs, Wipro are the company who visited the campus for placement, no of offers made are30,40 mainly in the computer science, electronic, industrial production branch. The avg package is 2.5-3.5lakh .highest package offered is 6 lakh. My plans after getting the degree are to the qualified gate for further study.

From the 3rd year means from the 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Companies such as HCL, WIPRO, etc visited the college for campus selection, and they gave less opportunity for campus placement.

In my view, this is the main topic we have to discuss. In IERT, after six semesters you are eligible for campus placement for placement people says only CSE student is eligible but that's the wrong narrative if you good at coding and you have skills then you crack any your dream company. In my college basically, a mass recruiter gives an offer to students mostly student goes for off campus Drive process And in IERT there is a good culture of competitive exam like GATE, SCC, UPSC.

My branch ICE i choose this branch because it was new to me and something other than the traditional branchs and i read about it on Google branch had scope but it was risky too cause not too much scope was there well college had a positive environment for the branch we had 1:10 faculty: student ratio in all branches almost facilities were well qualified with great experience every teacher had there own teaching methods and mostly students can connect with every teacher's method exams takes place when the course is complete which is at quite slow pace

After 6th-semester students become eligible for Campus placements. Most of the time, mass recruiters companies visit our College, So the package is not as high as the IITs and NITs. The highest package is 20 LPA bagged by one of our seniors in Off-Campus placements. But Our Students are very much good at scoring good ranks in the GATE exam. The percentage of students getting placed is somehow between 50-70% because most of the students opt for government examinations. After Completing this Degree I am going to prepare for the GATE exam to get admission to an IIT for my MTech degree.
