Narula Institute of Technology Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

This college is among the top colleges in Bengal and is totally raging-free. The mentorship programme is very helpful for the overall growth of the student. The behaviour of the faculty members is very friendly. Training sessions are held regularly, industry visits are done and guest faculty members are invited from big companies and institutions to share their experiences. Extracurricular activities are held regularly like tech fest, cultural fest, manual sports meet, various sports tournaments, quiz, debate and many other uncountable events throughout the year.

College management is not interested in the academic quality. It is interested in the money, just like every other nearby engineering college in Kolkata. They are very particular about the fees. If not paid in time, they charge a hefty fine of Rs. 10 per day up to the date of payment! It is quite a lot of late fee fine.

I took PGET(Post Graduate Entrance Test) 2014, and My State rank was 274. I was wanted to study power system and only few colleges are there to give m.tech in power system. The best college in view of infrastructure and as well as faculty is Narula Institute of Technology. That is the main reason for opting this college.

To get into the college I had to compete in WBJEE and rank 19420. I got options of IT engineering from various colleges but ECE from Narula. Additionally my school senior used to study in the same college.

The college management is very helpful the only bad thing for our college is the quality of food in canteen.

I completed my diploma in civil engineering first! Then i took JELET, but my rank was poor, so took direct admission.

I took WBJEE entrance exam, i got nearly 12000 rank, since i want to pursue CSE, & this is the best college. I am getting as per my rank & also this college is nearest to my home, so i opt for this college.

I cracked WBJEE with a rank of 16k+ and during counselling I chose this college. This college had an advantageous location with good mode of communication. Plus I knew alumni who were placed in good MNCs. So I chose this one.

I had taken WBJEE and then taken admission in IT back in 2010, I had opted this college because at my rank this was available and had decent good commutation routes, moreover the past records for the placement was good enough for me to get in here.

I took CEE AMPAI WB 2016 entrance exam and I scored 489.
