Everyone says college doesn't matter but in my personal experience, it does matter to a certain extent. You get that extra push when you are from a Tier-1 college. It is not that you cannot achieve your dreams if you are from a Tier-3 college , you definitely will but it would take some time. As compared to other WBUT colleges, NITMAS needs to improve a lot when it comes to faculty, extracurricular activities and placements.

Overall I could include they have provided good knowledge and quality education to the students who worked hard. This 4years was almost our memorable days for us.

I being a student of that particular college, can't really speak bad words when it had been a family to me. It to taught me to struggle with the hardest of situations. Belonging to such a reputed university has given me good perspectives. The hostels are good to be there and the eco-friendly natures cut out the nasty summer. The swimming pool had been a great pleasure. The teachers just know how to technologize you well. That's for all!

Everything is good other than the college management. After course completion students must get an opportunity to sit for an interview for job,students hardly get chance to prove themselves which is very sad. College brings many companies for other streams but for marine engineers hardly 1-2 companies come. And for other streams as well companies sometime turn out to be fake one. When students try to raise their voice against this system, they are treated brutally. They are made to give fines or put behind bars. Twice it has happened to our batch that principal brought police in campus and put students behind bars and made every single student of the batch to pay fine of Rs 25000 only because it was a misconduct that we raised our voice to get a chance to get job!!

Mangement not student friendly and a fight conduct each year between marine and Tech students thats all.

College management should be more efficient in job opening in the industry should conduct more industry visit training to be more rigorous but in all the management is good and ambuja is pretty well know.

The only bad spot on this college is the traditional fight between marine and technology students, its happening from long years are still in trend.

I gave JEE mains and I got 92 this college have a great infrastructure corresponding with all the facilities for students study is the prior goal of this college with great seniors for my part they are very helpful faculty been the major choice.
