Remarks

According to me, this is the best university as the quality of academics is high because of its rigorous and ever-changing curriculum. My focus is academic qualities at this point of time so that I can leverage this as a base forward.

Our course syllabus is updated every other year. Industrial exposure is decent. The faculties are very friendly and easy to communicate with. They are open to new ideas and strive to make the classroom engaging

The placement cell at SSE works in close coordination with its faculty advisor and provides a platform for student Seeking recruitment to interact with possible recruiters on the campus. Alumni network is strong. College has tracked the alumni and kept in touch with them.

Campus life is good, warm, close-knit students, events are 2-3 a year, very engaging, participation from all across India in college fests. The teams for management are abundant, we get participation from Lot of colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.

I chose SSE over JGU without a doubt and have no regrets about the same. The course in JGU was new and interesting. I quite liked it but personally economics and "Symbiosis" appealed more to me.
