Dislikes

I took cuet and cut for my course varied based on different combinations and categories also admission through cuet is very haptic it's a very long process a simple mistake can ruin your whole admission process
I also disliked the administration block of my college because they do every in a very gradual manner. many time main members go on leave.
I didn't like the fact that there wasn't any sports quota for volleyball

KMC: A GREAT PLACE TO LEARN

Likes

The thing I liked the most was the atmosphere of the college.
The teachers teaching students are very knowledgeable.
All the resources are available and you get all the benefits

Dislikes

Sometimes the students behave very rudely
The guards may bother you unnecessarily. So take care of that
The hectic work schedule is something to look out for.

The syllabus and curriculum is up to date and the teachers teach accordingly. Along with theory we also undertake practicals which improves our understanding of the subject. The course is also enriched with manyyy field trips.

The campus of the college is well maintained
The classes are held regularly and teachers are supportive
The college has various facilities for sports

The washrooms are bit on dirty side and old
The classrooms need to be renovated with latest furniture
Lack of facilities in the common room for boys and girls

The placement of kirori mal college in commerce are one of the best.the placement cell of college Avenues is one of the best cell and it is active throughout the year. The college provides placement to almost all the students and the average package is 6 LPA

kiroimal college ranks as one of the elite institute!
students come from a different culture backgrounds to a rich campus culture
the college has a strong emphasis on academic with many students actively participating in seminars

Dislikes

i think canteen should have good infrastructure
i dont like the auditorium kmc is an amazing college they should have large and amazing auditorium
some keyboard doesnt work in lib..! but not a big deal!

KMC:Best memories of my college life

Likes

Department of Geography is the best faculty in entire North campus colleges.
All the facilities for Geography department exceeds the expectation.
Extra-curricular activities are given importance which aligns with the academic.

Dislikes

Admin office is slow in their procedures.
Maintenance and renovation in college disturbs us a lot during our classes.
Class time table is too hectic as sometimes it clashes with the other classes.

Placement Experience:

For Geography,the placement offers are less as compared to other diverse courses. Talking about the employability rate then after graduating from this esteemed institution there are various doors for future endeavours. In Civil services,in research work and in meteorological department geography is essential as a eligibility criteria. I'll be preparing for Government exams after completing my degree.

I really like the campus of the college. The way it is planned out. We have a huge campus including different blocks for arts department and science department. It has a vast library containing a number of books including a number of subjects.
The faculty of my department is really very helpful and the way they teach seem so interesting. Their aura is really approachable and we can easily take our doubts and problems to them.
The college has diverse crowd. Students from various cultures, backgrounds, societies giving a good exposure for one's personality development.

Dislikes

The maintenance of classrooms is not that up to the mark. It can be improved if the furniture is changed and a classrooms are re painted.
There is no lift for the students who are physically disabled in the science block which is a major problem that needs to be taken care of.
The wifi does not work properly in college, be it girls common room, library or any other place in the college. Which is a basic need of the students nowadays.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum could be a changed a little. The addition of these Sec, Vac,Aec is just a burden on the students. It makes difficult for them to focus on their actual core subjuects. The difficulty level of exams is moderate.. its neither that highly difficult nor that easy. Simply one needs to study in order to pass the exam. The exams are a bit lenghty though, which makes it necessary for the students to cope up with the timings in the exam.

Cultural activities and fest are great .In the fest celebrity came and that's osm

There is nothing to dislike College . This college has achieved many achievements in all India
In elections time study is effected but cllg is very good

The college that overpower it's status

The college provide a very good exposure to fresh mind and have them build many useful skills to society and other activities the college as a very good network of society which ar involved in different types of activities which help the students
The curricular part the colleges excellent and difficulties are just amazing ready to help the students on the go the college offers a variety of courses and skill analysement add on which help the student to develop a greater personality

Dislikes

Though the college has an excellent profile but the infra of the college is still poor but the authorities are working on improving at the auditorium is being reconstructed as a part of it
A bit of political inclusion is seeing during the elections which affect the society existence

Placement Experience:

The college has a good placement ratio every year a lot of internship opportunities are offered to the children's so that they can practically apply their teachings and can earn money as will apart from this this internships can even be done into full time work if the childrens are interested in at and apart from this the college also offers many placement opportunities after completing the bachelors

Teaching Faculties are always there for you to tackle all types of problems.
Extra-curricular activities held regularly throughout the year.
Different people from different regions including all the parts of India.

Dislikes

Slow procedures of Administrative Office.
No trained teachers for Common Courses under the NEP 2020
Air Conditioning in Arts Block for language departments.

Placement Experience:

Final year students(Semester-5 for Three yearcourse and Semester-7 for four year course)are eligible for the campus placement. Last year about 175+ renowned recruiters visited and 172 students of diverse backgrounds secured placement offers. The highest package was of 23.05 lpa and average package was of 7.24 lpa last year which includes the profiles of Finance, Management, Marketing, Associate, Content and many more. After taking degree from this college opens various opportunities for me in the sector of Content and Journalism also for Civil Services.

Everything you need to know about THE KIRORI MAL COLLEGE, DU premiere institute of DU in North Campus.

Likes

Crowd- Great people to connect and learn with.
Humble Faculty- Teachers and professors are really understanding as well as caring.
Nice Library and canteen- Best library compared to all colleges of DU and canteen serves the best food.

Dislikes

Politics- You will find election candidates often coming towards you for the votes in their upcoming events or elections. Stay away from all this.
Poor Infrastructure- Classrooms are like 60-70 years old and aren't renovated.
Reservation Policies- DU reservation policies enable two different backgrounds of people to learn together. However, the diversity takes part in differences.

Course Curriculum Overview:

See, I believe that the world is changing so rapidly that anything you study is going to be outdated in next 10 years. So, it is better to study those subjects and courses which are foundational base for any sort of invention or improvement in the world. I chose Mathematics since, it broaders my logical and quantitative aptitude with high understanding of tough theorems and proofs.

Teachers/faculty : There are various things I liked and one of them is teachers like how friendly , cooperative and supporting they are.
Location : As my college is part of north campus it is situated at a good location. Surrounding by amenities such as metro stations(vishwavidhalay, pulbangesh and Gtb), market/malls(kamla nagar and spark mall) and much more
Student : As a prestigious college the cutt off is quite high so the students are of much better quality.

Dislikes

The only thing I currently dislike is that too much construction is going on and we have take detours to reach from one sode of college to other.

Placement Experience:

The student are eligible for yeh summer internships from there second year also when i asked some seniors about college placement they told me that it generally begins from the end of third year. There ate various companies that visits a d offer a number of placements. Usually 60-70 percent of students who sit for placement get offer. I will pursue Phd after my degree
