The college has an experiienced and supportive faculty, with great teachers who ensure attractive and engaging classes.
There are various scholarship provided to meritorious students every year, so u can avail the benefits of it by meeting it's eligibility criteria.
An excellent number of students secured placements, reflecting the college's strong industry connections.

Dislikes

I took cuet and cut for my course varied based on different combinations and categories also admission through cuet is very haptic it's a very long process a simple mistake can ruin your whole admission process
I also disliked the administration block of my college because they do every in a very gradual manner. many time main members go on leave.
I didn't like the fact that there wasn't any sports quota for volleyball

Campus chronicles

Likes

Faculty of my department (English) is extremely talented and well-read. All are well qualified and approachable and great teachers.
Societies offer a vast exposure to number of life enriching experiences. The ratio of boys to girls is good too, infact almost equal or more girls maybe.
Environment of the college feels safe and amicable. Opportunities for social interaction are ample.

Dislikes

Lack of basic amenities like clean water and quality food.
Lack of good infrastructure to relax and sit with friends.
Lack of an array of books in college library. Could up their library by stocking prescribed books along with updated material on each course with a broad variety.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements from semester 5 which is 3rd year. I'm not currently much active with regard to placement cell but I do know companies like zomata and D.E. shaw has come to our college. I'm not aware of exact figures of packages but yeah it's more than 7 lpa. Talented students do get placed in leading companies. I plan to take up government job post my studies so haven't really thought of placements but they do offer nice interships from the first year itself.

Likes

Collgese vibe and atmoosp Is good one wont feel alone or depressed
Faculty is nice and polite and student are well mannered
College canteen is good and cheap food is available

Dislikes

The infra is not good and the building is quite old
Hostel facilties ate not good as other student are bot allowed to enter
College ground is not good as it not well maintened

my honest review as a first year of KMC

Likes

the environment at the campus and my department is safe
most of the teachers are excellent at teaching
seniors of my department and also of other departments are very helpful

Dislikes

too less fans in a big class and also less lighting
lab apparatus are old and most of the time not working
some teachers are not really good at the pronounciation which creates problem in understanding what they're teaching

Placement Experience:

fifth semester students (3 year course) and 7th semester (4 year course) are eligible for campus placement. according to stats, the median package offered during UG 3-year placements 2023 stood at INR 7.2 LPA. Further, a total of 358 students were placed and 1020 opted for higher studies out of total 1714 students during UG 3-year placements 2023. my plans after completing the degree would be going for masters and further studies.

By the way my course is bsc analytical chemistry in chem and bio chemistry.It is a program courses by the way as u all know program courses are under rated as compared to honour course but my course Is quite good we learn practical we do more practical rather than learning theory

Kirori Mal College: A perfect blend of academics, culture and opportunity

there are lot of societies or club,for example there is a society related to environment and there are also societies related to commerce.Every type of society is their so people can get into societies of their interest.
Always their are new event going on in the college which makes it great.
teachers are very very helpful towards student,they will help you for the notes and other academic stuffs

Dislikes

i would say infrastructure of the college is not up to the mark if we compare it to other college of the du in north campus like srcc
in summers it gets very tough to attend the class because their are no ac in the class rooms and you know the summer of delhi, you will going to write exams on peak summer without the ac
washrooms are bad,they are clean but some urinals are broken.

Placement Experience:

students of kirori mal college become eligible for campus placement after the 5th sem (3rd year). some companies that have visited kirori mal college in recent years include Delloitte,Tcs,wipro,tech of india. The highest package was 30-35lpa average package was 7-9lpa placement rate is typically 75-85 percent my plans after completing my bachelor's is going to be pursue my masters degree

A Glimpse Inside KMC

facilities such as hostel,common rooms,canteen with great and varied food
sports and gym facilities with good amount of equipments
hostel with great mess,facilities and canteen

Dislikes

badminton court is not there.there is a net but not a court
lack of a big auditorium.though there is a well equipped small one but not a great big one.it is been in construction since forever

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is great considering its comprehensiveness and relevance with daily changing future requirements. besides the subjects that student has taken admission in,they get additional courses such as languages (both indian and international changing according to semesters),they get a "skill enhancement course" which include a great deal of subjects from finance,personality development and sports.same goes for "value enhancement course" and "EVS" which includes study of environment.

KMC is a class in itself!!

One can become politically well-versed as politics
Student interaction at KMC is top as mostly toppers are the ones who are a part of our college.
KMC has the largest library among DU colleges.

Dislikes

Apart from academic infrastructure, rest all needs a redevelopment as of now.

Placement Experience:

KPMG, Deloitte, PwC and others have blacklisted many colleges and have or are in favour of KMC. Analyst and project level jobs are offered to KMC students and from 7th semester onwards students gear up for placements.

I like ground the ground is very big and also the gym is very good amd the faculty of this college is also very good..
Labs are very good.. Amd lab assistant are very supporting
College always maintain cleanness..... .

Dislikes

There is no auditorium.. Which feel us something is missing
Buildings are very close to each other which looks not good
There is only 1 canteen which i feel this college at least need 2 canteen..

I would rate 5/5 the cource curriculum of relevance and comprehensive... There are some specific aspects of the curriculum thats why i choose this course because this course provides stability other than all cources

KMC' Enactus is a die for society!!

KMC has top societies culture especially such as Enactus, Musoc, Players and NCC to name a few.
Our of all the North Campus colleges, KMC is the only one that has an international styled Gymnasium.
College Life, Career Life and everything is sorted once you enroll at KMC.

Dislikes

Well, a little bit of politics which is a core part of North Campus is actually hampering students from doing things of their own.

At KMC it's during the placement day which is organised for mass placements activities for the final year students. DE Shaw has now become our top recruiter with hiring nearly 40 students out of 120 from our course. Rest are hired by HDFC Bank, Indusind Bank and Aditya Birla Life Insurance to name a few.

The best set of students are available at KMC as most students who study here are school toppers.
KMC has given bollywood stars like Kabir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan among others.
Many societies keep on organizing many intellectual sessions every now and then.

Dislikes

At KMC one is absorbed by the pressure of studies.

Hdfc Bank,E&Y, Accenture and various other companies wants economist as their consultants. Ofcourse students of our course are offered junior consultant roles but being a consultant in such firms itself is a novelty. KMC helps in providing placements and that too to most as students can easily roam inside the campus without signs of worry of placements.
