Kirori Mal College Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Not much ideas about that as I myself am in the 1st year but there may be many seniors out there having review in this website so do look for other reviews as well but most students in this course aim for UPSC or other gov. exams and the college is a bridge for them to reach their goal. Some go to the field of GIS after graduation and do masters in geoinformatics in other universities like Symiosis Institute of Geoinformatics having good placement opportunities.

This course is interesting for me. Although all other subjects sounds interesting me but Geography has an edge. This is a best place to pursue hons in Geography. Infrastructure needs to be given attention and maintenance but faculties are best.

I opted geography as I had a keen interest in the subject and wanted to pursue it for my future aspirations. The curriculum and the professors work well to boost you up so that one doesn't regret their decision. Exams are conducted after two three months coupled with projects assignment tests and field trips.

The course is very informative and challenging as well . The most lucrative part of course is it's conceptual understanding and not just rote learning . The course although is not much viable if taken in perspective of job opportunities but yes if you continue in some specific fields like urban planning or geology one can get better opportunities later on . The areas of improvement can be the infrastructure and modern techniques to be incorporated. The exams are bi annual and it is moderate .

Generally there are placements for specific courses only ,like in Science courses and Commerce courses. Also there are placements at society level. Many socities in college organise placements drive in college to make students get opportunities of getting placements. On an average the placement in my college is 10 lakh rupees per year. Only 20 to 30 percent students get placements in my college. Personally i would continue the Geography course in Masters and prepare for government exams.

Students become eligible for campus placements after 4th semester. Google,Facebook,Ola,Oyo,etc, companies visited. Highest package was of 22 Lakh/year. Percentage of students getting placement ranges from 8-9.5 CGPA.

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements . The companies who visited are Deloitte, Urban company, Trilogy Innovation etc . Highest domestic package is 36 LPA and highest international package is 50 LPA and average package is 8.5 LPA . 60 to 70 percent students getting placements . I want to do MBA after graduation

Generally every year final year students are eligible for campus placement and prestigious companies like Wipro, KPMG, Deloitte etc are generally coming for placement purposes. Highest package of KMC in 2022 is around 19 lac p. a . And average is around 5 lacs paer annum.

As I wanted to do an honours degree from Delhi University. My course is BA programme in Economics and history. Economics is my major and history is my minor subjects.The faculty are better than any colleges as they are well experienced.

placement cell is the oldest placement cell operating under the du. is a student-driven body officiating as link between student and companies. last year 980+ recruiters willing to collaborate with the placement cell. different role like data analytics, business research, consulting, investment banking, hr , and content creation were offered.245+ internships were offered and the average stipend that was offered was 18k and highest was 4.2 lakh. average placement was 8.89 lpa and 140+ students were placed and highest placement was 36.5 lpa. after my graduation if i will be get placement of 8lpa or more than i will join job otherwise i will directly go for mba
