Dislikes

I took cuet and cut for my course varied based on different combinations and categories also admission through cuet is very haptic it's a very long process a simple mistake can ruin your whole admission process
I also disliked the administration block of my college because they do every in a very gradual manner. many time main members go on leave.
I didn't like the fact that there wasn't any sports quota for volleyball

Kirori mal college - the best college

Likes

The College atmosphere is very good and the college administration is very helpful in each and every aspect.
Due to variety of courses and different different types of extra curricular activities available in college helps to students to grow and learn .
Cleanliness is very good and teaching staff if very good

Dislikes

Class timings are not good as the timing of college is 8:40 in the morning to 5.00 p.m in the evening
There are no ACs in classroom as it is very difficult for students and also for teachers in summer time
67% attendance is mandatory which is the main I disliked about the delhi university

Placement Experience:

The placement record is not much better as it is nearly 12 lakh per annum but only few students got the placement which are excellent in academic as well as extra curricular activities. After graduation, students can go for further studies in their respective courses.

The facility of botany and labs from the educational pov
The cafeteria and the infrastructure of the college

There is no placement in our course of botany
The distance between metro station and college is 1-2 km

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of my course was in order and completed in time by faculty teachers. Botany always amazed me and the experiment attracted me to choose this course. The curriculum can be made more good if trips to fields become more than present in frequency. The exam are half yearly and test the knowledge to a great depth.

All about kirori mal college

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is quite good
The campus environment gives a joyful vibe
The alumni of the college are pretty famous

The science department is not that much developed
The canteen food can be improved! Otherwise its acceptable
There should be better equipments in the college gym

My course is bsc applied physical science with analytical methods in chemistry and biochemistry this is a new course to the college and to the Delhi University too!! And it is a type of course which main focuses on skill work as its an analytical chemistry so alot of laboratory stuffs. I prefer it's a good course but this course faculty are less in number

Kirori Mal College - A college of academic excellence and cultural extravaganza

Extra Curricular activities in Kirori Mal College are really vibrant and there is huge learning curve and great experience for one in Kirori Mal College, during my time here, there was always something happening in the college.
Kirori Mal College has one of the best faculty for Political Science, Economics and Commerce in entire Delhi University
Some might say KMC lacks in infrastructure, it might be true in some cases but even with those limited resources, KMC is one of the best college of not just Delhi University but entire India.

Dislikes

Obviously the campus size and infrastructure is less developed, there's always space crunch in the college for classrooms and activities
Placements are not very good and so is the case for most DU colleges. Only around 250-300 students get good packages each year.
Not all teachers are as qualified as they should be. Classes are often irregular.

There is a well defined Placement cell in the college that provides internship opportunities to all students and placement to students of final year. There are always active internship drives going on in the college. The average placement lies at 8LPA with highest being 21.5LPA by DE Shaw this year

A beautiful experience: KMC

Before starting, I would just like to say coming to KMC was one of the best decision of my life. I love the infrastructure of the college. The hallways are beautiful, the bathrooms are clean, the lawns are spacious and just what not.
The faculty of the college if great. Of course there are one of two teachers whom you may not like, but some others are able to make you see past them.
The location of the college is appreciated. The back door of the college opens right in the middle of Kamala Nagar and just makes it so easy for you to have fun with your friends. The front gate connects you with the rest of the north campus.

Dislikes

When I entered the college, I really disliked the lack of auditorium in the college. However, thankfully, the college has started the renovation of the auditorium and is expected to be in usable conditions by next year.
I personally dislike the girls common room. It is quite small especially with the lates change through renovation. Whole the room itself is not satisfactory, the washrooms are beautiful and ever so clean. The mirrors further add a nice touch to it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love my course. The course is much more than what you may assume. Majoring in English is not just about reading novels but also about understanding the different historical, religious and political context too. What we learn most of the time is the context behind writing a particular text. The curriculum allows us to be radical in our thinking and find our own beliefs. The exams happen at the end of every semester and are of moderate difficulty.

KMC Shaping the future

Healthy college environment and clean and peaceful college campus
No 1 faculty and teachers are so supportive and helpful

In the final year students become eligible for campus placements. Certain campus placements are provided by the college and average package is 250000 per annum . Nearly 60 to 70 percentage of students got their placement

MSC Physics in KMC

College is having reallly good teaching staff and they are well educated and good teachers. Teaching faculty made it easier to learn new things.
College Sports ground and gym facilities are very good and easily accessible by students.
Library of the college is very good and it has a reading area for students.Library has a great number of books also.

Dislikes

College ambience is not well designed and i I didn't like its infrastructure as well.
College canteen is not clean and do not serve quality food.
College washrooms are not clean and their is no water coolers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is a really good option if you want to learn about physics. It gives you all knowledge about all the fields of physics and it gives you knowledge to be able to qualify further exams based on this subject. The course is well designed and it teaches about all the expects of the subject and it is designed in such a way that makes you learn easily in each semester. The course can have more practical based classes which will make it more easier to learn the subject. The exams are semester based and they are quite tough as well. Syllabus is very big and questions are mostly numerical based which are mostly new and hard to solve. To score well in exams you need to study alot.

Likes

The faculty is really nice and they r super supportive.
The infrastructure is also really good .
Society culture that helps fosters community learning.

Dislikes

There is no auditorium in the college so conducting session is pretty hard.
There is no air conditioner facility so it becomes hard to survive in summer.

Placement Experience:

Students after 5th semester become eligible for campus placement. The companies that visit are Zomato , swiggy , Ernst and young, PWC, Deloitte among others. The highest package provided was 51 lakhs p.a.

Cooperative teaching and non teaching staff
Library services are available and we can take books from library in a very convenient manner
Lighting facilities are quite good which leads us to use fans and Ac's during summer times

Dislikes

Infrastructure needs some improvements towards the main building
Canteen can be improved for better eating facilities

This course what I am doing needs some more attention as they don't see this course as good as they take other courses of like honors courses.we can also get very good skills from this course but it really needs some improvisations

Faculty, the English department faculty of KMC is well qualified and very chill. They enhance not just the learning experience but also the growth and development of one as a person.
The student community. KMC being one of the top colleges in the Delhi University has highly qualified student community with varied interests
Socities and opportunities. The college socities and clubs provide amazing opportunity to bring about overall holistic development of students and make college life fun and exciting.

Dislikes

Infrastructure, kmc infrastructure is not bad but considering its status and rankings , I expected a better college campus.
Construction work, the college is often under construction, making it a little difficult to flow through college life.
Unavailability of hostels for women. KMC provides hostel facilities only for male students while it should be available for female students as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a literature enthusiast, B.A Hons. English is the perfect course for me. The course is all about literature and various aspects of it. Studying about the historical background and the way literature affects us is a lot of fun and exciting.
