Placement Experience:

When it comes to placement opportunities, Kirori Mal College occupies a good place. Many reputed and prestigious companies like KPMG, D.E Shaw, Deloitte USI, Tresvista, etc do visit our college but only a few students get the opportunity to get placed. The percentage of getting placed is just 10% of the total applicants. The highest package is INR 20 LPA while the median salary package is INR 6 LPA. The students from the final year become eligible for applying to these companies. My further plans after Batchelor's degree involve pursuing a master's degree in the economics field.

Placement Experience:

The Highest package till now which is being offered in our College is 31 lakh but the placement is only for limited courses which include B.Sc Computer Science,B.com (Program) , B.Com (Honours). But apart from these courses, there is a few chances of getting placement because other courses are related to either Humanities or Science (Science graduate focuses more on Competitive exam, that's my personal observation). Overall our College is Lie in the range of GOOD in terms of placement that UT provides. We are eligible for placement from the starting of the 5th semester but we can start I internship from the 1st semester. There is an internship cell that helps in providing the link to start the internship. one of the students is elected as the president of the internship cell and there is one teacher also who maintains the decorum of the cell. I'm not aware of the companies properly. Highest package:31Lakhs Average Package:8-9Lakhs Percentage of people get placed:10-13%(not sure). clearing Comperitiveismygoal

Placement Experience:

The only bad thing about this college is placements, not much effective. 30-35 percent students are placed from this course. Approx stats: 10-12 students out of 150 are getting placed . This had been gradually decreased from 3,4 years. But you can expect increase in upcoming years. The highest package for a BSc Hons student is 6 lpa and average is 3 lpa. DeShaw, and some other MNCs offer good placements.

Placement Experience:

In the sixth sem students become eligible for placements. The college placements are ok as this is not an engineering college. About 40% of students are placed. But the percentage has come down for our batch due to coronavirus. Students are placed in pharma and chemical companies and the average package is between 6 to 7 lakhs. My plan is to do UPSC

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course i.e B.Sc. Hons Chemistry is a very good course if you like to study chemistry and want to make future with it. I opt for this course as I like chemistry and it also provides some future opportunities. Teachers are well qualified and very experienced. They actually help you to understand concepts. Most of them are so helpful to you. We get 1 teacher over 40-50 students in a theory class. For a practical class, there are 2 teachers with over 50 students. We have 2-semester exams in a year, they are always on time as scheduled by DU. Semester exams are not very tough and you can score well by just following your teachers and taking regular classes.

Placement Experience:

Avenues, the KMC placement cell, helps to bridge the gap between corporates and students who wish to be a part of the corporate world. More than 50 companies visit the campus every year, including some big names like Deloitte USI, McKinsey, BNC, EY GDS, and DE Shaw. The highest package is INR 14 LPA and the average package is INR 7 LPA. Usually, 10% of applicants are hired by companies for different job positions.

Placement Experience:

We do have a placement cell for the students who are from commerce background. And for my course(zoology) 1) majority students go for academic field like MSc then Phd. 2) students go for government exams like SSB, AFCAT, CAT, UPSC and many more. 3) students go for b.ed 4) there are some students who have also been employed by private firms like TCS.

Placement Experience:

After getting the degree you can opt for Masters's in the same subject or different eg genetics, biotechnology, biochemistry. If you want to become a faculty at the Aakash institute for neet coaching, Msc Zoology from DU is the best way to get through it. If you want to become a college lecturer of go into the research you can opt for the CSIR NET JRF exam which you will easily qualify of you have studied the BSc zoology syllabus of DU itself.

Placement Experience:

Generally, the annual placement feat is organized for the graduating students. A number of national and multinational companies visit the campus. Depending upon the course, the probability is calculated. Being an Undergraduate College the amount offered is low compared to other packages. I Am aspiring to appear for UPSC Civil Services Examination in the near future.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I mentioned previously, it's not quite well known here in India & not even many people know about "Analytical chemistry" either in my own college, Kirori mal college. Being the reason the student's strength was quite low that of other programs like chemistry (Hons), only 40. Despite that teachers never took the course lightly except for 1-2 professors. I would have appreciated it more if they have taken as on-field works & give more exposure to real-life scenarios & work of chemists in industries.
