We will be introduced to all scholarship opportunities so we don't miss them.
I liked the way lecturers utilize class hours to help students with their studies
College has a good environment and with full of greenery and serene beauty.

Dislikes

There are not much things to dislike about the college but the communication gap between north indian students and south indian students can be observed
The food there is somewhat bad and needs to be improved
Campus is a bit outside from city not so far but 30 minutes away.

way to IIIT kanchipuram

more number of technical events are conducted every year.
college provides many opportunities to explore our intrests
student friendly environment with supportive teachers

Dislikes

we don't have air conditioners in our class rooms
low placement percentage in mechanical branch

Placement Experience:

students become eligible for college placements from the 7th semester. KLA, AMD, Congruent, Quantrium and so on are the companies that offer placements for our students. the highest package offered is 36LPA and the average package is 10.2LPA. 75% of students got their jobs in campus placements.

Likes

Hostel rooms are good and I liked the balcony view from our room
Class rooms are good with all the needed amenities
Library is also full of books that you can read to develop your skill .

Placement Experience:

They are eligible once they enter third year btech and the student exchange programme is also conducted every year. The highest package is 42 lpa for ece average will be around 12 lpa. 88 per cent of students get placed every year. I will also try to get a placement good for me.

My review on my college

Likes

Sports complex , Library , Lan and wifi ,security.
rooms , hostels , ground , classes , maintenance.
staff , friends , freedom to go outside the college.

Dislikes

time table , no of fans in class will be less.
they will not switch on AC and staff will get full time AC.
some times mess will be nice and sometimes it will not be nice.

Placement Experience:

80% of placements will be there. From the 5th semester, students will be eligible. Around 110 companies were visited. The highest was 42LPA and the average was 13LPA. I want to learn about AI deeply and create a new version of AI.

The scenery and the atmosphere here is quite good.

Dislikes

The food is quite bad sometimes and the mai trance of hostels.

Placement Experience:

3rd students are eligible for placements at Google, Microsoft, and Amazon, Highest package till now is 54 lpa. And lowest 11. 90 %of the student are placed Doing ms after getting a degree The clg ppl have placement cells also they will handle all placement help needed.

People, weather, hostel, curriculum, Friends I have made are most treasured
The sports facility at college is pretty good.
The hostel facility is arguably best among all iiits

Dislikes

There is a need to bring in better environment of exploration and learning
The distance of college from central railway station is 40km :(

Placement Experience:

Avg placements are good. Many students do get placed with decent packages. Many opt for higher studies. The highest package last year was of 42 lakhs but it was off-campus. It is going to be just fine if you focus on skill acquisition when the time is ripe.

IIITDM Kancheepuram: Desiring your future.

Likes

Weather and beautiful scenes of nature as well as the monkeys.
The sports facilites and the infrastructure is really good.
The faculties are super helpful and they interact with students really well.

Dislikes

The mess menu changes sometimes suddenly.
The schedules can be hectic sometimes specially during exams.
Interaction with the seniors is not so strong here

The placements in the college are good not very high not very low. The average package is around 13 lakh per annum and the highest of 55 lakh per annum has been taken. The preparation for higher studies from this college can be pretty smooth. A lot of our alumni are now in foreign universities.

Likes

If you like nature this campus has good nature
This has a new infrastructure which is too good
Sports complex, laboratory complex are super

Dislikes

Senate rules are too strict in this college
No birthday parties are allowed inside the campus
Design course are not liked by maximum number of students

Placement Experience:

Placement in the last three years are good because highest placement for this institute is 55lpa in these years. Third year student are eligible for internship and fourth year student are eligible for placement.Companies like Amazon,tcs,kla,mathworks,zoom.

A brief about IIITDM chennai

Likes

Infrastucture is very good and there are no compromises taken.
Sports culture is excellent and the facilities in sports are top notch
The academic facilities and food is awesome.

Dislikes

There are very less no of students in the college and the campus looks very free some times.
The in and out timings are quite trouble some as we should be in our hostels by 10:30 pm every night.
The campus is just 55 acres and it would've been better if it was any bigger.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their 4th year. 102+ companies visited and some of the major companies include Adobe, virtusa, Capgemini, Amazon, etc. The highest package offered is 32 Lpa by Gamescraft and the average of B.Tech batches lies between 11 Lpa. Around 97% have received placement offers. I would like to go and experience IT sector jobs related to development.

Mess food , hostel washrooms , hostel restrictions
No food ordering like swiggy , Zomato in weekdays
Design and Manufacturing courses ,weird people

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester the students are eligible for Internships every week there will be at least 3 opportunities and placements will start from the 7th semester. So many companies visited and were given multiple offers, you can check the institute's website for placement statistics and other information. The highest package is of 50LPA and the average package is 12 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is based on students registered for the placement it is 98%. After getting my degree I will look for a job.

Good Institute for Under graduation followed by post graduation.

Placement Experience:

After semester 6 students can eligible for placements. Some of the companies that visited our campus are google, Samsung, adobe, amazon, etc.; In 2021-2022 total of 279 offers are made and 97% is the percentage of offers per student. The highest package is 42 LPA and the average package is 13 LPA.
