Likes

The faculty are good their interaction with students are awesome they are friendly
Students scoring well in cet were rewarded and along with that those who do well every year are also rewarded with 20-30% scholarships.
Placement are nice, the college brings enough companies and the average package is 6 - 7 lpa, not bad

Dislikes

Professors are rude, they will trouble you if you don't get along. Parking facilities gets very congested during working days.
No group activities. No ventilation in some of the buildings. No course related training from the first year. Less number of group activities that affects communication among students.
Some internal fights between students, regular fights will be there.

My lovely college DSCE

Likes

Curriculum is great, placements are good too , extra curricular activities are encouraged, teachers are supportive and hod sir of cse department is the best
The campus is very big and spacious, subjects are updated on the trend
The colleges is surrounded by lots of pgs anf apartments, easy to accomodate, sky dale studio apartment is the best in the option

Dislikes

Hostels are very costly, hostels timings are very strict
Cars are not allowed in the colleges, only bikes
Attendance are very strict , have to maintain 85%

Placement Experience:

6th semester students become eligible for the placements. Ig group , microsoft, anz oracle wipro finacle infoysis accenture, ibm visited our campus and many more also. Average students also getting placements, all depends on skill sets

The main thing which I liked is the campus , whole campus feels like a park with many varieties of trees.
The buildings are also very good , nearly all branches have their own buildings, and the HOD of our branch and she is very friendly, she cares about her students.
The placements are also good , the avg package for CSE is 8 lpa , and highest is 51 lpa

Dislikes

Some of the facilities, they are not so good. They target some particular students.
Parking facility: Our college has very lage area for parking but it is not sufficient for these many people
Some internal fights between students, regular fights will be there.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a very good placements, The placements for CSE branch is high when compared to non CSE branches, They start placements from the 6th sem , and internship starts at 6th sem only There will be compulsory internship at 6th sem

the campus is really great , its quite big which is rare for the good colleges in bengaluru
there are multiple competitions or hackathons conducted by the different branches regularly

Dislikes

there is a bit of lack of fun events going around

Placement Experience:

campus placement opportunities are ample but only for the good courses like CS and CS-related and circuital branches. In CSE, 90%+ gets placed and the average package is about 6.5 lpa. The top placements are around 20lpa.

The main thing i joined to this college is by seeing the placements
It has the best campus in all over karnataka
And you can add that it is one of the most reputed colleges in Bangalore

Dislikes

The hostel fees is too much which is really overrated

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements at the 3rd year 6th semester where the companies come out for palcements in the college, The companies which come to the college is TCS, WIPRO, FLIPKART, ZOMATO, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, AND many more top companies have visited our college till now, where more than 60 companies have visited our college.

Reality of Dayananda sagar college of engineering

First of all lets start with faculty, Most teachers are good except a few who are new to teaching and new in college.
The management doesn't care much about the lower branches like Civil, which kinda is a good thing because teachers in these are not at all strict
The infrastructure is fantastic, buildings are new, its clean and very peaceful

Dislikes

There are not sufficient amount of fans in classrooms. The infrastructure from outside is fantastic but from inside its bad
Football ground is very bad and not playable. Basketball is okay and tennis is okay. Also no facilities for cricket

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students are eligible for placements In automobile companies like mercedes, bmw, tata, suzuki, honda, hyundai, etc recruit regularly. I dont know about the highest and average package almost 50% get placed I plan on building a business after my degree so no placements for me

Since DSCE is a top ranked engineering college, only the ones who rank in 100s gets admission here.
Pre-Placement training is compulsory here as college makes sure that maximum students from their college should be placed.
State of the art infrastructure of DSCE makes sure that students have many other opportunities too other than studies.

Placement Experience:

Pre placement training starts in 3rd year and in the final year, we start getting our chance to prove our worth with interviews. Top companies like Motherson Schumi, Mercedes Benz, Bosch and others have hired ECE students off late with an average salary of 5 lakhs an year.

A Review of DSCE

Likes

The infrastructure of the College is too good when compared to other colleges in Bangalore
The ambience and the environment of the campus is marvelous as it stands top within the mountain

Dislikes

Parking has the black mark for the college. If organised properly would be a great place

Althogh Our college is named for placement for all the students, main capturing image of our college comes from cultural centre. our college holds the name for conducting greatest of the events in banglore colleges. along with the studies and career building, they also focus on cultural vrafting of individual.

An Overview of Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering

College has good cultural fest and have different clubs like Coding club ,Dance Club, Singing,etc.
College has good female- male ratio,and south- north ratio,and there is no discrimination based on State, which some colleges in Bangalore have.
College do not ask for any hidden or extra fees from student apart from annual fees. Also the placement cell is very active and give chance to seat for placement after your graduation , which many colleges don't allow.

Dislikes

Some branches like Electrical, Telecom teachers and hod are not supportive towards students,some teachers also hold grudges with students, especially with North side students.
Most of the branches are very strict about attendence,you have to get attendance above 75% for sitting in exam,if you don't meet the attendance criteria ,they will not allow you to sit in Internals,and some cases final exams also.
The clubs in the college has very small sizes like 30 students in each academic year, which not allow many students to be part of ,also the fests have manely south Indian guests and artists,so it is not as enjoyable for North Indians than South ones.

Placement Experience:

Usually the placement process starts from end of 6th semester till 8 th semester,also they allow for placement after the graduation also for those who didn't get any offer. Till 2023 the placement are like awesome in our college , almost 50-60 % students get more than 2 offers but in 2024 they have merged their other two campuses in the main campus placements so that those campus students also get placed, which badly affected the college's reputation in the market and also the overall percentage. Due to this pool placement,the circuit branches and non coding branches sees challenging placement season this year, around 60% students are only got placed till now from these branches. So this is the big demerit of this college,if they continue to do this in future placements. Also the recession also decreases the number ,but then also they have managed to placed majority of their students who have some coding knowledge or idea of the technical skills.

Over all a good experience !

Placements are good for computer science related branches
Located in the heart of the city hence easy to commute
Extra curricular activities and cultural events are conducted regularly

Dislikes

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. More than hundred companies visit the campus for placement.The companies which visit regularly are CTS , Accenture , Wipro . Highest package offerd was 24 lpa and average was 6 - 7 lpa. In the computer science related branches almost 100% of the students get placed

College ki life

Likes

I liked the way the faculty teach I mean they explain the topics.
The way faculty approaches every student to clear doubts.
The internships options they give, the average package they offer in this college is really fantastic.

Dislikes

They do not give more intrest in sports.
As sports is important to everyone there should be an option in college but here it's less.

Placement Experience:

The students of 6th semester become eligible for campus placement. The highest package is about 50lpa by the Microsoft company. 90 percent of the students gets placed. If I won't get a placement I would like to do ms in US.
