VIIT Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the sixth semester students are eligible for campus drive. Companies starts arriving in January. The highest package for ETC students is 13 Lakh per annum. Nearly 70 % of students get placement every year.

Placements start from 3rd year last semester. But more companies started visiting from June last year. Till now we have had 50 companies visit for a mechanical branch like Tata technologies, forbes marshall, Eaton, etc. The highest package this year is 13LPA by Ansys. The average package is from 4-6 lpa. And students getting placements are 85%. I will do a job after college.

Placements start from the 7th semester. However, frequency increases during June-August in 4th year. There are hundreds of companies visiting campus with giants like Nvidia, BlackRock, Deutsche Bank, and many more but each student can only make one offer. If you get one offer you are out of the placement activity. The highest package offered as I remember is by Nvidia i.e. 33LPA and the average lies from 5-7 lpa. The placement percentage as per last year's record is 85% - 90%.

There are companies like Reliance, Infosys, and many more visit my college, and the placement is provided for the third year only but mostly for fourth-year students. The highest package of my college is around 44 lpa and avg is around 8 lpa, Almost 90-92 percent of students get placement who needed it, My future plan is I want to get a good placement and be financially stable before pursuing mtech if needed.

The placement scenario at viit is pretty good, it provides great opportunities to students with on-campus placement up to 30 lpa(highest). Above 95% of the total students are being placed. My plan after getting degree is to opt for further studies.

As I choose computers because of my interest in computers. The overall faculty is very friendly and always free to solve students' issue. The exams pattern is very easy it is divided into 2 terms midterm and end-term

Placement is available to computer-related branches and also to some core branches although mech and civil have low placement offers if you study well you can definitely get placed in core fields as well.

From which semester do students become eligible for campus placements - For internship Sem 6 ends for placements - after the 8th sem. Name of the Companies visited & no of offers made NVDIA - 14-15 LPA, IBM - 12+ LPA, TCS, INFOSYS- 10+ LPA, etc. Percentage of students getting placements - 90%. Your plans after getting the degree - getting a minimum 50 LPA package.

It is an emerging field and so I chose to choose it. The faculty here are well qualified and many of them are PHD holders...the faculty-to-student ratio is roughly 70:1.The teaching method is fantastic and focuses on the all-round development of the students. The exams are conducted twice in a semester and it's easy to pass them.

The faculty members are quite nice and cooperative but some of them are not the Same The teaching staff is quite good with nice teaching ability and sense and also the non-teaching staff is quite nice
