The college and govt provides various scolarships in support of the students like inspire scholarahip for she, the college provied financial assistance to ews students.
The faculty is also super talented and have a great knowledge.
Our annual fest tempest was one of the best times of my life with dj nights, neeti mohan, several stalls and the freedom of being in a gender minority college just made everything a million times better.

Dislikes

However, speaking for the political science faculty, although they are qualified, they are highly detached from the students.
Faculty somehow as it was sometimes not that good as we thought.
Apart from a few professors, the others methods of teaching are severely outdated and biased.

Teachers appreciated students and support in study
College timing are good and comfortable.

Dislikes

Batches divided but not give any information.
AC are not working and classrooms are so small.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum is so easy and understandable. Teaching methods is also good . Teachers providing pdf and google drive related to subject and they helping to understand any questions. Timing of exams is perfect.

The Infrastructure is veryy good, the condition of classes as well labs is amazing
Teachers are very supporting and helps in all way possible
Events,fests are just special, also as outsiders are not allowed so it's less croweded

Dislikes

Bullying if we can say that ? not specific but some people just are not okay

for me personally it seems relevent but alot of topics we are missing which could have been included. Subjuects are updated but we get less hands on project. it's mostly theoretical and non industry collaboreative.

Miranda House is a Miracle!!

Likes

The internship çell Vyara is so good that even the first year students can apply for internships and the will get it.
College gives students utmost chances to explore their other interests too.
Faculties and students interaction is such that students will never feel that they are talking to the professors.

Dislikes

Some students spread negativity about the college and hence I want those students to be expelled.

Placements of our college doesn't lack anything as students mostly opt for further studies but I have no issues saying that placements are also available if not in numbers. Let's be fair as jobs in current scenario are that many in comparison to the number of students that graduates every year. Still, Miranda House has done well to make sure that over 60-65% students get placements.

Miranda house is all girls college and it is one of the safest environment for the students , the best thing is it's management
The faculty are just great , they are quite punctual and very particular about the job they do
The various society in the college gives us so many opportunities to take part in and help inbthe overall development of students

Dislikes

The thing that I dislike about college most of the sports are available to students who took admission from sports quota
Sometimes the faculty cancel the classes without informing and that is chaotic

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is not that good because quite recently the placement cell is established and they do not even provide good placement. The average package is also quite low. Although it's not that good like other colleges but they are still working on it

I really like the infrastructure of the college. It is very vibrant and spacious.
The library facilities provided in the college is the best I would consider. The library itself is very spacious and cozy. There are tons of books available in the library from various different genre
The crowd of the college is very lively . They are fun loving and easy going people in the campus. Overall, i love my college social life

Dislikes

The faculty of the course is not that great. Some of them are really helpful but some are not so great.
The food in the college canteen is really overpriced. The quality of the food is good and variety is great too but the prices are not very reasonable.
The presidents of certain societies are not very cooperative.

The highest and average package offered during Miranda House placements 2023 stood at INR 21.5 LPA and INR 8.97 LPA, respectively. Further, the lowest package offered during Miranda House College placements 2023 stood at INR 4.5 LPA. Apart from this, a total of 69 offers were released during Miranda House placements 2023. Apart from this, the highest stipend offered during Miranda House placements 2023 was INR 60,000.

MY 6 MONTHS EXPERIENCE IN MIRANDA HOUSE.

Likes

The peacefulness and security in our college is really commendable. Without id they won't permit others to enter in college campus. Students from other college can't enter in college in regular day.
The staffs are really polite, health and green campus
Professors are extremely knowledgeable and polite. Healthy student teacher relationship.

Dislikes

Student teacher ratio is very bad. 1 teacher for almost 80 students
Mobile network does not work in college campus for that we have wifi in our college

Course Curriculum Overview:

My dream course was political science and as of now mirandahouse is one of the best college for arts india. Our professors conduct seminar even arrange educational excursion, by this they taught us lesson. Also sometimes they share their own journey to make us understand the competition. Recently s jaishanker came for a talk in our college.

My life in college

Likes

I liked the college atmosphere very much.
I really liked the teaching style of the teachers in the college.
I really liked the security system of the college

Dislikes

I saw some discrimination towards students among some teachers in the college, which I did not like at all.
I found discrimination between rich and poor among some students in the college which I did not like.
Sometimes the behaviour of the security personnel deployed for the security of the college towards the students was not good at all. I felt very bad seeing this.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Hindi course in college. It helped me learn a lot in life and was also very useful from the point of view of preparing for any exam. I was very interested in Hindi, so I took that subject. The novel included in the syllabus attracted me more towards it.

From 5th semester you can apply for placement There are so many companies related to physics and business studies who came to our college and find the best talent For this you have to study hard So can find the easy placement
