Many exhibit kindness and willingness to offer guidance and assistance , fostering aa positive learning environment , their dedication contibutes significantly to the academic success and personal development of students.
This college has one of the best infrastructure. every class has smart boards and speakers. classrooms are ventilated. teachers opt for best teaching methods . college has really big ground and provides opportunities in sports to everyone.
I had chosen this course because for me bsc is the better fallback and it is my plan b for my career.

Dislikes

Now comes the placement question , the placements are next to zero and even the students do get placed, it's not really with a well known company , We have to be self dependent in this case . The packages aren't that great.
The college canteen is very small , It becomes too much crowded at the lunch time. The food is also not very good, they're very limited variety of food , mostly they sell processed food items.
The computer labs have the computer systems , but they all are out dated . They are old generation PC's . They should have the latest technology , and latest software installed in them. The internet connection is also not very good.

My college life

Likes

College have nice infrastructure and you can roam around with good circle of friends.
You can bunk any lecture you want but try to maintain atleast 70 percent attendance.
There is a good library and a reading room if you want to study in your free lectures.

Dislikes

There is no internship or job opportunities offered by college.
You won't get much exposure to industries .
Lecture might become boring after a certain period of time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is fine.But you have to study on your own if you really want to crack a job.Dont focus on the things teacher tell you and focus on the things the job require you to do.As soon as you understand this you are on a good path.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am pursuing BSc. It basically offers you deep studies of subjects like physics chemistry and maths. I would highly recommend this course if one is really interested in the subjects otherwise not. We have semester system and have exams in 6 months

College review as a fresher

Likes

The faculty is amazing , well experienced teachers , amazing sessions , juice corner and shakes . Very famous chole kulche wala , even passouts students come to eat them . Library is well disciplined , reading room for studied , girls common room .
Various departments are available especially i like geography department , teachers are incredible they also dictate notes in each classes makimg it easier for students to understand them .
The seniors are very helpful and supportive . No ragging system , various whatsapp groups are available for any query . Many trips are organised , about 2-3 every month. Nescafe is there for coffee sandwiches maggi burger pasta and verka booth tooo

Dislikes

There needs some improvement in infrastructure such as canteen , there are not enough benches and ventilations issue . Classrooms need a little renovation , especially in terms of fans , as the class consist of average 100 students at a time
The naac grade has decreased to B and something is needed to improve it including infrastructure and other facilities .
It is not allowed to leave college before 12 pm once you enter the college . And i cards are necessary to enter the college . There is no recess break and lectures are of 1 hour each which i think should be minimised

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course ba is excellent , i have taken geography , polity and economics and all the course content is relevant for my preparation of civil services examination . As i am in 1st semester physical geography is in my course and its very interesting . Thats why i chose these subjects so that they can help me in competitive exams too . As the 1st year mst have been cancelled the final exams would take place in november end as i have read previous year questions the paper level is wasy to moderate not difficult

I choose this course because I have to do air lines further so I thought I need a at least graduation so that I able to do somethings If your new applicant u have to fill online form and then according to your course and your percentage they give u addmission Stay touch with teachers they help u.

Teachers was very punctual and dedicated towards studies there method of teaching was effective ,college environment is very positive, developed infrastructure, easy to access books from library ,campus amenities was very good as well

College arranges seminar for each COURSE which able the students to explore there real time experience towards Their goal . The exam were help on half yearly basis includes mid semester exams as well.

First of all,it were the teachers,the faculty, which were standout, always helpful.
Co- curricular activities and many opportunities were provided through youth festival, various competitions, sports events, NCC,NSS etc.
The infrastructure was outstanding. Good library, good working condition of classrooms,overall a good environment.

Dislikes

The behaviour of some of the staff members wasn't much pleasant.
The information network wasn't that much good earlier, although it is improving.
Not much job opportunities for the students. No more placement opportunities provided

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although, some theoretical subjects helped us to be a good thinker, while practical subjects helped us developing a sharp mind,but not all the content was useful at all. Some of them are never gonna come further in life.

PGGC-11 Faculty, Campus, College Review!

Likes

Teaching faculty is excellent in their work as well as supporting students in pushing them out of their comfort zones to do better.
Seminars, webinars, workshops etc were conducted throughout the course
College fests and events were refreshing, interesting, and entertaining.

Dislikes

The administrative staff of the college was sometimes rude

I chose the course for business, management, Operations Research and statistics. It paid back! The course can be more practical than theory. Exams are conducted every 3 months on an average. Difficulty level of exam is moderate.

Library was the most wonderful thing in this college fully aur conditioned with the ease to find books through the help of screen installed.
Sports infrastructure was amazing as there was superb sports complex built with track and field events and a huge playground, gym, tennis court, basketball court etc
The students can go to the canteen which is very affordable.

Dislikes

The students can't be able to enter the campus without the identity card in their neck and have to wear it the whole day.
You have be at the college till the particular time decided by the college authority before that you can't exit the college campus.
Sometimes few teachers are rude and they can't able to teach the students in a proper manner.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after the graduation wants to persue higher degrees as few companies come for the campus placement which are dominated by telecommunication like tech mahindra and few banking companies as well which provides very less package actually so very few students sit into the placement. The average package is around 240000 after the completion of the course.

Honest review about postgraduate government college sector 11

The classrooms are spacious and well ventilated.There is a girls room in the campus with Ac's ,sofas and proper space to study.
Every department is properly diveded. There is a canteen as well as a nescafe corner along with juice center etc.
For faculties the review is a 60-40 i.e many of the teachers are experienced and teaches very well but few are experienced but still their's teaching method is not that clear

Dislikes

Less placements and internship were introduced for the science students especially for medical students not a single placement.
Girls hostel and boys hostel are like 2 different world like boys hostel is just near the classes and everything but the girls one is kinda far and obviously more strict than the boys hostel.
Not a thing that i disliked but something that happened like in 1st year and 3rd semester there was no teacher for biotechnology for bsc biotechnology students and similarly for 4th semester there was no organic chemistry teacher for bsc medical

Placement Experience:

In postgraduate government college sector 11 all the students that are in final year are eligible for campus placements. And if you are a BSC biotechnologu honours student, then you do get internships after your second year in various hospitals around Chandigarh, but for non honours students The placements are not that much impressive.In 2024, the placements that were introduced for the final year.Students especially for the science students were not very interesting and not very much oriented according to the course. If it's to be concluded Then the placements provided our average the amount of students getting placements is less.

If I talk about the campus ,College campus is small. Classrooms are good. Water purifier is installed in every floor. Canteen is good but sometime it becomes too crowded. Hygiene is maintained in campus . Their is a lot of greenery.
If I talk about the Academics , professors are good ,their teaching style is also good, they are friendly with us . The overall interaction between the student and teacher is very great. Seniors also do help with things and curriculum is updated.
It have all the necessary facilities, A comprehensive central library with nice infrastructure . It have all equipments for work . There are 3 proper computer labs , with working systems . CCTV cameras are installed in each and every classrooms.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's nothing worthy in life even a stone. Let me tell you my story , I choosed BCA . It depends upon you how you transform your knowledge in to working environment and learn quickly . Books training and other things doesn't matter too much in your working life and environment . Be a practical student and think beyond others each and every moment , think something extra which will not come from any books or university , it will come from your mind and innovative working style .
