Each year, we all dance together during a festival called blitz, which is pretty enjoyable.
The college has many scholarships for bright students like the apj abdul kalam scholarship for pol science students.
Good teaching faculty that helps us to engage in college activities

Dislikes

It happens sometimes that classes are cancelled and teacher does not give prior information about the cancellation of the classes that waste the time of the students that can be used for studies
No real time projects in the course- there was very less learning as they had the fixed curriculum which needs to be followed and no real time or interesting projects related to the course
The faculty member is good but not better than my expected level

Life of satyawati college student

Likes

College auditorium of satyawati college is very good and large , i really like this
And secondly the ground of college is very greeny and clean
thirdly the teacher is very well and helpful

Dislikes

infrstructure of this college is not good
The food in canteen is very unhealthy , i really don't like this
And lastly not good washroom and classroom , washroom is very dirty

I opt BA (prog) courses because this helps in my future careers in civil services .Content in a comprehensive curriculum focuses on all domains of learning :social ,emotional , physical and cognitive . The exam difficulty of my paper is on an average not very easy not hard

the faculty is very understandble and helpful
the auditorium which fully funcitional and maintained
the sports room , gym and ground is neat and clean

Dislikes

the furniture and the rooms of our college are mostly broken
the college enviroment is also fishy sometimes
the administration is sometimes rude while performing the tasks

in terms of relevance and comprehensivess the curriculum of our college is good and teaches accordingly . the curriculum helps in solving real world problems , it teaches tally and other software which helps in getting jobs , etc . the timings of our exams are from 9 am till 12 am

Satyawati College - The Political backbone of Delhi University

I have liked my college deparment - Political science dept., the teachers are very friendly and helpful.
We have the biggest auditorium in the whole Delhi University, which i like the most.
The college environment in overall is very good, the seniors are very helpful and co-operating.

Dislikes

The worst thing about my college is the infrastructure, the benches are not in a good condition.
The staff of the college is not working properly, the sports facilities are not maintained properly, there's no basketball court, badminton court is not maintained properly.
Sanitation is the worst, there is not proper water in the filter, water coolers are not working.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college follows the UGC curriculum given by the government. We have in total 7 papers in the 1st semester:- DSC 1, DSC2, DSC3 (Disciplinary course) - these are the main paper of the subject Then we have to select four other papers GE AEC SEC VAC The papers are held in semester form, in 1 year we have 2 semester. Other than semester exams we have to give test, assignment and practical exams(if any). The areas for improvement in the curriculum is not needed much but there can be improvement in teaching methods because the other papers (GE, SEC VAC, AEC) are made for students to enhance skills in other fields. But the teacher's are very casual in these subjects. They do not take proper classes.

Infrastructure is good in my college and the faculty is also too good , nature of teacher overall is okkk
Canteen food is also good in my college .. and canteen infrastructure including their services all the things good

Nothing I don’t think that there is anything in my college which I disliked

The auditorium in my college was the biggest and very nice
My college library was very good and had many kinds of books. Send feedback Side panels History Saved
My college kids were also very supportive and good.

Dislikes

My college doesn't have a basketball court
The teacher is useless, he gives the assignment anytime: even a day before
There is no good place near the college.

The course is difficult, I had difficulty in understanding it, time wasted in giving assignments during exams and this course did not bring any change in my real life, it is useless, I can just become a teacher, the teacher was nothing special either

It have separate auditorium Building and cyber library
The satyawati college have large playground
The satyawati have a large mess with Ac facility

Dislikes

The mess food is high and quality of food is low.
College don't maintain hygiene in food of mess.
College gym is not good no advance equipment

The bcom hons course is tough and it's exam level is based on syllabus and practical basis.they teach us with real life example the teaching methods of satyawati college teacher are awesome.they teach in friendly form .

My college faculties is really good like every department is very good at its own.
I liked that my college provide extracurriculars activities like we have different societies where you can follow your interests.
One thing the most important all teachers are well qualified and according to fees it any student can study here.

Dislikes

One thing i disliked that every student dreamed of exciting college life but my doesnt organise big fest . I mean yes fest are organized but not in that grand level.
I think the infrastructure could be more better especially the classrooms.
Placements is one of thing that my college provides but not very high its like average like around 3lac to 8lac

Placement Experience:

My college placement is not that good it doesn't mean no placement but not high packages. As a student of b.com i also want good placement but sadly it doesn't provide 100% placement. Placement are there which goes from 3 lakhs to 7lac approx.

Glance through satyawati campus life

Likes

Small campus made it a lot easier to intermingle with students from other courses hence there was diversity in friendship and learning opportunities
Ground was well maintained so sports activities were also promoted and organised with zeal and enthusiasm
Different societies availed skills apart from academic life for overall personality development

Dislikes

Staffs are not so benevolent and often office work is a tedious task
Capacity of classroom isn't at par with no of students enrolled in the batch
Never organised any fest so it really took away opportunity to learn from fest management and organisational skill

Course Curriculum Overview:

Economics hons curriculum is with the market trend and requirements. If you study econometrics whole heartedly than in the World of data science it gonna help you in bolstering your future well. It is very much relevant and important.

sataywati college is very prestigious college

this college is very big and one of the best colleges among du and yet fully equipped with all the updated technolgies
this college provide refreshment area and student activity area for hang out and those hang out areas are so big and fully furnished
various activtites room are their in college and and all the outoor and indoor faciltites are provided

Dislikes

but the one thing is not so good that is thier du lubrary . students size is large and chairs for sitting are not that much there .

Placement Experience:

its not true that renowned national and international firms like KPMG only visit top colleges like HINDU , KALINDI OR SRCC . campanies also recruit from satyawati college though the no of placements may be relatively lower .

Satyawati was a part of the Delhi University campus before it was relocated to Ashok Vihar.

When you are admitted to one of the DU colleges, you place a high value on education. There are many amenities in college that other colleges do not have, one of which is the Largest Auditorium at DU.

It's a good college with friendly students. The seniors are helpful. There are numerous co-curricular societies to which one can belong. Ragging is prohibited at the college because of the anti-ragging policy. Except for a few, the teachers have extensive experience and training. The building's infrastructure is adequate, and the classrooms are also spacious. There is a fantastic library as well. The canteen is excellent. The ground is in good condition and is well-maintained.
