Each year, we all dance together during a festival called blitz, which is pretty enjoyable.
The college has many scholarships for bright students like the apj abdul kalam scholarship for pol science students.
Good teaching faculty that helps us to engage in college activities

Dislikes

It happens sometimes that classes are cancelled and teacher does not give prior information about the cancellation of the classes that waste the time of the students that can be used for studies
No real time projects in the course- there was very less learning as they had the fixed curriculum which needs to be followed and no real time or interesting projects related to the course
The faculty member is good but not better than my expected level

Simple way to understand Delhi University

Likes

The most beautiful thing which I like here is the crowd of Student who is frm everywhere in India.
Thirdly I like the most is the competition level between students.
Secondly I like the environment and the cooperation between teacher and students and juniors and seniors students.

Dislikes

For me, when I was in 1st sem, the professor was not so experienced as he was pursuing PhD at that time.

First of all, I want to do MBA in finance. that's why I have chosen economics honors so that I can continue with maths and statistics. If we are talking about the real world so economics is very important aspect everywhere In the bank, in countries welfare, etc.

I LOVE SATYAWATI.

Likes

I like the college auditorium. Satyawati college auditorium is the biggest auditorium in the whole DU capus.
I also like the college ground as in winter we enjoy under sun.
College campus has anti ragging hemisphere.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to choose this course is my interest towards history from school times. Teaching methods of some teachers are very efficient and some teachers are boring which make history boring. But some teachers make the history subject a curious one. This course need improvement in teaching methods of professors. Exams held on semesters basis means in every 5-6 months .

College that emphasize on both Academics and extra curriculum

Likes

Large campus area with greenery all around
Many active Socities that helps student to develop their personality and exel in many fields
Good teaching faculty that helps us to engage in college activities

Dislikes

administration employees are slow and not very helping in nature
Decent but not very good crowd in the college
Sports facilities need improvement to make students indulge in outdoor games

Students from their final year become eligible for campus placements. Heighest placement of the college was 28 lakh per annum Companies like vipro comes to college for offering placements to students from various departments

Satyawati infrastructure.

Likes

I liked the behaviour of lectures and staff
The college is anti ragging and gym specially with trainer.
Library there are a lot of new books provided.

Dislikes

There are nothing to dislike but out of college there so traffic.
Behaviour of few staff and seniors. That's it
Hassle in form filling or choosing tha subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate 10 for the course curriculum. Suitable for all students. There are some aspects there are need for improvement but overall staff and teachers are very good. Continue assignment and everything test are take by teacher time to time.

I chose this course as I had intrest in humanities subjects and these subjects are very helpful in competitive exams. The faculty of my college is very supportive and helpful and they are chosen by an examination process. There are exams conducted every 6th month.

Good environment, the structure of the college is good the students are also humble and kind

Dislikes

They have to organise fest for the students in evry semester.

I chose this course because the subjects i wanted were there in this course only like English, Politics And Environmental Studies. So that's why I chose this course. The maximum number of students in the college have the same course. The teaching was online which was ok. I have 8 subjects in my course which i have to clear in all exams the exam pattern was not too difficult.

Location is the main reason why i like my college .
Area is student oriented and restaurant nearby gives discount to student.

The campus area is little smaller than the expected.

I chose BCom hons. cause I am from a commerce background and my future goal is related to commerce so for me it is a good course. The faculty of the commerce Department is good and helpful, all the teachers are very professional and ready to solve problems.

Satyawati College - Inside Out

Likes

all the societies in the college are very prominent around the DU circui.
The Campus surrounded by greenery and trees. The location of Campus also placed the part as it is Very close to the North campus.
The fees is quite very affordable for all the sections of the society and that is what makes the college worthy enough

Dislikes

it happens sometimes that classes are cancelled and teacher does not give prior information about the cancellation of the classes that waste the time of the students that can be used for studies
The infrastructure of the college is not up to the mark and this applies to all the Colleges yes they are on exceptions but overall the infrastructure of the university is not up to the mark as the hype suggests
cleanness is another issue in the college. Sometimes the classes, corridors and rooms are not cleaned or not as clean they as they should be.

Course Curriculum Overview:

honestly Delhi university is quite overhyped. I found it that it is equivalent to any central university, but the exposure you get from here that is very priceless. the faculty member are good and student ratio is mine in my class. There are around 80 students and they are two sections in the BA honours political science section. I choose the course because I want to get into civil services. The qualification of the faculty and the teaching which is quite effective. Most of the teachers are assistant professors as we are in semester one. They have done PhD in the stream, the exams were done exams postponed and were done in the year end period and it was not as difficult as I expected

An honest and spicy review

Likes

I really like the auditorium of our satyawati college.
I really loved the ground and the vast number of games our students play/enjoy there.
And last i can say specially the New building, it is one of the best things from our college

Dislikes

The politics that took place in the college during election season i really hate that, i just want peace kinda environment sometimes.

Placement Experience:

You are eligible for the placement in your last semester, as pur college's societies like ENACTUS & SAKSHAM has taken the responsibility on their arms and they provide placement to students. They also assure the basics requirements for the jobs ,and gives out the best placement for our bright students.

A Glimpse of DU Colleges

Likes

Students and Teachers relations with respect to study, conversation.
Freshers welcome of newly admitted students.
Providing good infrastructure for the reading rooms.

Poor maintenance of the classrooms and toilets.
Delay in the decision making by the management.

Actually, I have done my 12th Standard in commerce background that's why I chose to pursue only Bcom P or H. I got the right college and all the facilities members are good however their teaching method is not good but their behaviour is good. All our term exams held after 4.5 months and it is moderate to pass the exam.

Satyawati was a part of the Delhi University campus before it was relocated to Ashok Vihar.

When you are admitted to one of the DU colleges, you place a high value on education. There are many amenities in college that other colleges do not have, one of which is the Largest Auditorium at DU.

It's a good college with friendly students. The seniors are helpful. There are numerous co-curricular societies to which one can belong. Ragging is prohibited at the college because of the anti-ragging policy. Except for a few, the teachers have extensive experience and training. The building's infrastructure is adequate, and the classrooms are also spacious. There is a fantastic library as well. The canteen is excellent. The ground is in good condition and is well-maintained.
