Is "School of Open Learning" worth it? My unfiltered review

College can improve its career services and as a student i felt that i didn't got guidance on internships

College must provide help to the students on internships

Placement Experience:

The college also has a placement cell and it provides a average package of 5 Lakh rupees. I'm currently pursuing Company Secretary course along with my graduation. So the college placement doesn't really matter for me alot.

A simple life of Sol College

Placement Experience:

There were placements available in our School of Open Learning college but not so much. Mostly PWD students got all this and the package here was also very low. It used to be 1 to 2 lakh rupees per year. And we got nice company for placement like tata , godrej, hero etc. 3 out of 10 students only got placement. My plans after geting my degree is i applied for graduation level government job exams only.

the thing that I dislike about myy college is that they barely provide any internship, the internship environment in my college is not that good and they barely provide any internship and if they its pays very low

the placements or the placement enviromnt of my college is not that good or i would say its bad. There are barely any placements and they pay very low like 8 thousands or maximum 12 to 15 thousands. The employability after completeing the course is not that much i mean what we learn in the curriculum is not what the recruiter demands . we study yaers old curriculum that does not mak any relevance in the prsent world so most the students stuggles to land a job

Placement Experience:

Our college does not provide placement but sometimes provides things like internship, the process of which is quite difficult and it is for 3rd year students only. No company visits me; no big company comes even for internship Neither is it a big nor an average package

A good and honest review of Du Sol

Placement Experience:

In the end of 4th sem the students become eligible for campus placement but the placement are not worth it if you ask me. But yeah if you are lucky you can get a highest and the best package of rs6,00,000/- annually and that's also rear and the average package of 2,50,000/- - 3,00,000/-. I planned to do CFA and become an asset manager in Dubai in highest ranking banks.

Placement Experience:

from 5th semester students are literally eligible for campus placements. Tech mahindra visited and offers made approx 1000+ highest package is 8 lakh per annum and average package is 5 lakh per annum and profiles offered data scientist, etc percentage of students get placement is approx 60 to 80% my plans after getting the degree to go for higher studies and then PHD. or get a teacher job.

After completing 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements Many companies visited like one point one , hero, etc . They have made hundreds of offers to various students till now The highest package offered was 2500000 for senior financial analyst About 20-25% students are getting placements My plan is to pursue for CMA after getting the degree

Since the new education policy has been opted by colleges, now the courses are 4 years that include 1 year extra providing on-field training or internship. But I'm not planning or desiring any placement because my regular courses are going to provide even better.

SOL for Hardworking Students

Placement Experience:

In the 2nd- 3rd Year students become eligible for campus Placements and also depend on the Job Role as per the company. SOL has a separate website for the Placement named 'Placement Cell'. The average Package as per company is around 1lkh per year. And also based on the skills of the person.
