DU SOL Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

There is a placement cell in our college (which is recently recognized). The company like yes Bank, HFC Bank. Are come for placements. The highest package they offered is about 8 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 2 to 3 lakhs per annum. 70% of the students got offers for placement.

I choose this course because I'm totally eligible for this course The faculty is quite good as I talk about students, they are very friendly nature I have given 90/100 for their teaching method The course is quite hard

As you know, neither should we expect nor get more facilities in distance learning. The faculty also does not cooperate much in this matter. I opt for open learning so I could focus on my own CA course. The teachers are very good but as the classes are limited, the exams come before the syllabus is completed, Which happens once in 6 months and class and book are available only one month before the exam. Even study material is not available on time.

I Choose this course because I want to become a teacher. English Honours are not so tough course to do because you have to just read 4 or 5 books each semester and it will be sufficient for your Examination. The faculty of SOL is not so good because this is not a regular college you have to attend just 20 lectures each semester. That's why contact between Faculty and students is not so good. All the teachers are well qualified and they all are UG NET Qualified their teaching methods are also good but they can be better. At the end of each semester, you have to take semester examinations every 4 to 5 months. The examination is easier as compared to regular colleges of the UNIVERSITY OF DELHI.

I choose BA pol. Sci. Hons because I want to crack the UPSC exam with a graduation degree and pol sci. Help me a lot to follow my passion Faculty:student - 5:50. All teachers are highly qualified because it's a Delhi University College and DU hire only highly qualified teachers to university Exams are not so difficult to crack easy but hard to write long

I was from a commerce background which is the reason I choose B.Com. My class had around 50-60 students. The faculty was well qualified usually post graduated. It was a three-year course and they took 1 exam per year.

I chose this course because of my interest I take the art side in the 10th class this is the valid reason I take a BA course in my bachelor's degree The faculty-student ratio is about 7 to 8 faculty and students in one class. qualification of the faculty is he or she has a tgt or pgt degree The exams were in the month of May June and its the one and only final term exam is very hard to pass the graduation exam but i wrok preety hard tu pass this exam quite easy i give my 100% on every exam and pass the exam

In my college, I chose BA Hons Political science because I wanted to understand the structure and process of politics and this course also help me to ease my preparation for government exams. Faculty provided to learn is very good as most of Delhi university colleges and teachers are also good in teaching and by behaviour also but student ration was very high as we compare to other universities mostly 70-80 students per class. They do very hard checking which eventually leads to low marks. it is a 3years course on every Sunday there are classes from 9 to 3.

In the 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Amzazon,TCS,Reliance are tge top companies visited and about 100 offers are made. 15Lakh per annum is the highest package 3-4lakh p.a. is the average package for the profile of business analyst,Back office worker, software engineer. 40% pf students are getting placements. I'll study higher like M.Com

After fifth semester students become eligible for campus placements. Amazon,HCL,WIPRO, RELIANCE are the companies visited and made no. Of offers which are about 60-70. 15 lakhs per annum is the highest package offered for the software development profile and 3lakh per annum is the average package for the business analyst profile. 40% of students are getting placements I'll study higher from the same college for the masters course and then apply for the campus placements.
