Faculty is very helpful and also very cooperative and they help in problem solving easily without any issues,teacher are also very good in teaching and problem solving and also they guide well to the students
Placement cell is also good. you will get some opportunities here. many open college doesn't provide job opportunities but here you will get.
Best way of giving opportunities who can't afford to go expensive college

Dislikes

No scholarships were provided by the campus and no financial assistance job i got on the campus with a stupid and no replacement in the college.
Thinks i dislike about the college was staff was not that good.
Infrastructure of this college is very bad for example , toilet is very dirty.

Sol review

Likes

The best of the college there is separate exam for girls and boys.
For the boys and girls there is different time schedule for classes
There is less fees and any body can afford.

Dislikes

There is not proper teacher for assigned for the classes

So, for this question i need to answer that the overall open learning is great because they charge less and they provide the degree and that's the great things and basically students do graduation from open learning to get there degree they have already doing some things.

SOL - nice option only if you're a govt job aspirant.

Likes

The study material was given at free of cost. The cost of it was included in the fees but it was very minimal.
The teachers were not any different from that of a regular DU college.
There was no mandatory attendance system as it's a distance learning.

Dislikes

No social interactions. No events to increase social interactions among the students.
The infrastructure of the South campus of SOL was very outdated and damaged. But they've started to arrange classes in regular colleges on weekends. The college changes every semester

The only real world application I learnt from the course is vocab and the beauty of literature from different periods. The exams are conducted semester wise. The infrastructure of the college is an area that needs a lot of improvement.

Why to choose du sol

Likes

You don't need to pay extra for exam form fees
They provide offline and offline classes also
They also provide offline and online both study material

Dislikes

The process is very slow it needs to be a little bit faster
After registering I get only month time to prepare for sem-1 final exams
Portals and websites are very slow and not well operated

Course curriculum is generally good. Study material is very good and easy to understand. As I am doing CA as well along with bcom H so it very relevant to me and helpful also in my CA exams. Easy to understand

Likes

the campus of my college was really impressive, it was very huge so infrastructure is something which i like about my college
another thing that I like about my college is its location. Its location is at a very good place which very quiet and connected to the rest of the city with all modes of transportation be it by bus or by delhi metro
i also like the faculty of my college and the classes are held regularly with teachers teaching in the best way

Dislikes

the thing that I dislike about myy college is that they barely provide any internship, the internship environment in my college is not that good and they barely provide any internship and if they its pays very low
the other thing that i dislike is the management system of the college, a lot of mismanagement happens during the time of exams

Placement Experience:

the placements or the placement enviromnt of my college is not that good or i would say its bad. There are barely any placements and they pay very low like 8 thousands or maximum 12 to 15 thousands. The employability after completeing the course is not that much i mean what we learn in the curriculum is not what the recruiter demands . we study yaers old curriculum that does not mak any relevance in the prsent world so most the students stuggles to land a job

The Power of School of Open University

Likes

This college is suitable for thos students who want distance education.
So that they can do simultaneously work at outside.
They can do another course included this.

Dislikes

There is no facility for the students to direct contact with the teacher.
They don't tell about anything timingly, not maintains punctuality.
About assessment,then are increasing time many times.

Course Curriculum Overview:

That correct is really not relevant and not influenced so much in decision making. This course curriculum not prepares for the task works applications of further academic pursuits. Thay should improve in all areas like teaching, strictness, faculties. The frequency of this exam around 3 hours but is easy exam.

We don't need to submit assignment offline we can to it online.

I'm so disappointed for course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. They are giving students maths in ba. If we can clear the the maths then why we would not choose bcom instead of ba.

SOL university offers a variety of Activities and events to create a sense of community.
SOL offers flexible study schedules that allows students to balance work and learning.

SOL may have limited support services. such as counseling , tutoring and career services.
SOL may not offer internship or placement opportunities for some progress.
SOL typically doesn't have a traditional campus, which may limit access to on-campus resources and activities.

easy accessibility wide range of course , affordable course fees and numerous study centers across delhi
recognised degree from a prestigious university like delhi university and great infrastructure like buidling wifi and canteens good quality of the infrastructure and amenities and learning facilities

lack of interaction limited face to face interaction with faculty and fellow students sometimes lead to feeling of isolation
discipline self discipline is crucial forsucess as there'sless structure campared to other traditional colleges
outdated material some course materials might not be as update as those in regualar colleges
