To be eligible for a hostel room the candidates must have been admitted to the SRCC. The final allotments of rooms at SRCC hostels are purely on the merit of the marks obtained in the Qualifying marks.

The faculty is completely qualified with a lot of experience and expertise , has really good teaching skills, clears all the doubts and interacts with the students, is gentle and friendly with the students.
Srcc has like the best placement's in the whole of du best companies hishest-35 lpa average -10-12 lpa package i don't really plan to take the placements and go for higher eduaction for mba or data science

Dislikes

The hostel facilities are not great as we thought and its not good as compare to the colleges like iit and iims
Hostel seats are limited. many students have to opt for pgs
Unavailability of lack of hostel facilities is a point of difficulty for me since a major part of my time is spent travelling to and from the college.

A very excellent college

Likes

The campus and infrastructure is really great.
The people who you meet here are very ambitious and the crowd is really great to hang out with.

Dislikes

Marks for attendance bracket isn't that great.

Placement Experience:

The placements of SRCC are known to be the best of all. The highest package offered stood at INR 35 LPA. Further, the average and median package offered during the SRCC placements drive of 2023 was INR 13.2 LPA and INR 14 LPA, respectively.

All of the students their are very ambitious and smart so naturally your mindset also becomes like them.
The college is not very strict about the attendance, so it allows you to pursue other things.
All the societies are completely student run, so you get a lot of experience

Dislikes

Campus is quite small as compared to other colleges
Classes get cancelled every week without any intimations
The college can improve its infrastructure

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to apply for placements from their 5th Semester, that is their 3rd year. Companies like Google, Mckinsey, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs etc visit the campus for placements. The number of packages offered exceed 400, where the average package is 13.5 LPA and highest is 36 LPA.

Societies in SRCC give a lot of exposure to students.
Campus is well designed and beautiful. Sports complex,gym, audi everything is amazing.
Placements are amazing. Average package is more than that of ca or cs..

Dislikes

Class curriculum is very academic rather than practical
Not a good environment for entrepreneurship
Hostel seats are limited. Many students have to opt for PGs

In our college, around 90% of students get placed. The average package stands at 12-14 lakh per annum. The highest package is 31 lakh approx. Many students don't opt for a job but instead pursue MBA or CA. Around 100 companies visit the campus.

I love the sports complex in SRCC. That place gives really good vibes.
The society fests. I love it when the college turns out to be happening.

Dislikes

The canteen food. It's really bad sometimes
The discrimination teachers has to the students from South India.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For undergraduate students, there are two courses in SRCC. Bachelor of Commerce Hons. and BA economics Hons. For postgraduate students, GBO is the only course in the college. As a BCom student exams are pretty easy. It is easy to score good marks even if the students have studied for just 3weeks before the exam.

Inspired by my innate passion for finance and marketing, I had a well-planned decision in my mind to pursue B.Com Hons as a gateway to my targets. And to the most extent, it feels fruitful so far. As per the official records, the academic excellence at SRCC is unparalleled to any other college of DU. The faculty-student ratio is meritoriously 1:21 with a separate body for administration and teaching staff.

Course is designed well. It covers almost all of the required subjects along with the choice to choose the electives based on our interests.
The campus infrastructure is build well.
Most of the teachers are cooperative and helpful.

Dislikes

Lack of rooms due to which at examination time classes of other batch used to be online.
Lack of fests during our batch tenure due to covid
Too much competitive atmosphere which usually leads to stress to most of the students.

SRCC - A sneak peak into Asia's Best Commerce College

Peer group is fantastic. The people here are the best from each respective schools. Highly talented people are there
Campus is beautiful. There's a balance between nature and infrastructure facilities.
Faculty here is amazing, they are simply the best. They are the authors of the books that is usually followed all over DU.

Dislikes

Infrastructural facilities could improve. Being Asia's best commerce college, it doesn't have enough infrastructural facilities.
Society culture can become toxic/over competitive at some point of time. It is due to the quality of students in the college.
The campus size is very small compared to IITs and IIMs

I Chose B.Com (hons) as I wanted to learn more in depth about Commerce as a whole. Further, the faculty at SRCC is world class. The professors have written books on course, so you study from the writers. We have a great peer group!

I chose Bcom Honours as I am pursuing Chartered Accountancy along with it. It matches my syllabus somewhat to ease out the process. Some teachers are pretty good and chill won't bug you for attendance and also talk very politely. Whereas you will always find the bad guy in some department who just doesn't care and is rude all the time. But yes some teachers amaze you with their knowledge.
