AI-Generated Summary based on 30 Reviews

Admission to Shri Shraddhanand College via the School of Open Learning at Delhi University requires meeting specific cutoff criteria and document verification. Established in 1967 in Alipur, Delhi, the college is under Delhi government's trusteeship and has about 50 faculty members, though some reviews criticize their qualifications and punctuality. The annual tuition fee at Delhi University is approximately 12,000 INR, excluding additional costs like examination (1,300 INR per semester) and transportation fees.

The placement system primarily benefits science students, with placements available post-5th semester. Around 50% secure placements; the highest package is 16 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA, with companies like Microsoft and Ford participating. Post-graduation placements have a range from 3 LPA to 12 LPA. The college promotes internship opportunities with stipends around 35k INR, mainly in content writing, management, and data analysis. Delhi University offers affordable fees, with scholarship and fee concession options for economically weaker sections and specific scholarships like PMS for Jammu and Kashmir students and NVSP for families with income less than 100,000 INR.

Despite available financial aid, accessing scholarships can be challenging. The cost of living, including PG accommodation, is around 7,000 INR monthly. Financial aid and campus jobs are provided, yet some dissatisfaction exists regarding the management's and student union’s role in facilitating scholarships.

I personally feel that the fee is not too high. But the cost of living in hostel or pg is quite high. If you are not from Delhi your major expenses would be hostel fee and mess fee. I didn't had any scholarship, but there is fee concession for economically weaker section (EWS) students.
