SCAC Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students are eligible from 3rd year for campus placements. Campus placements are good. Average placement for bcom was 4 LPA, and maximum 6lpa (from placement report 2020, available on website) Minimum was 1.5-2 LPA.

Many companies visit colleges every year to hire students in different fields. Few of the companies are Deloitte, EandY, Deutsche Bank. The highest package offered is mostly around 6l and the lowest is around 3l.

I am pursuing BCom with ACCA and after this, I am planning to do MBA or CFA. There are many career counseling sessions in our college and also student exchange programs. I am planning to do MBA from a foreign university.

In the third year, placements are started and all students are place with a very great package. The max package is 25 lakhs. And min is 3 lakhs. My goal is to become a finance manager so I will do my job after graduation and target to complete acca exams.

Symbiosis provides very good placement facilities. Many renowned companies provide placement here. Every time a placement fair is organized and for ACCA also there are many good opportunities. 60% of students get placed through the college program itself.

Third-year or the final year students are eligible for the campus placement. Many companies round the globe comes to the college for the interviews and selects students on the basis of their skills. Companies like the Big 4 visits college campus for placement and many other companies. For the year 2020 Despite covid-19 pandemic the highest package sad 6.15 lakh per annum and average was 4.5 lakh per annum. Almost 90% of the graduates who go for the placement gets placed in different companies. Many students don't go for the placement since they want to pursue higher studies. My plans- after completing my bcom + international F&A degree. I would like to work in a reputed company for a couple of years to gain experience and then either pursue higher studies or start my own firm.

Undoubtedly, the placement cells of symbi are very active throughout. It is renowned to have great placements for its students every year. MNC's like Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG, Federal Bank, Teach for India, Gandhi Fellowship, CRISIL (internship) were the top companies that offered a package of highest 4 to 5 lakhs and a minimum of 2-3 lakhs, besides many other companies also visited the campus for placement. Around 60% of students get placed every year. However, due to pandemics, there has been a downfall in the numbers. I aspire to do MBA in the field of Human Resources.

The placements are provided by the college from 3rd year with good package. The highest package is generally above 6 LPA. and the average package is 4 LPA. Wipro, Deloitte, EY, ICICI banks are some companies that visit the college every year.

Campus placement is started from the 3rd year in college. And reputable companies like EY and Deloitte have come for placements. And the average package of our college is 4-5 LPA and the highest package is around 12 LPA. The percentage of placement is also high. As the brand name of symbiosis is very important the students also get paid internships from the second year and unpaid internships from 1st year. After completing my graduation from this college I will sit for the CAT examination and then complete my MBA from a reputable institute.

From the end 2nd semester, students start getting placed. All the big 4s companies come to campus for placements.The highest package in 2020- 21 for UG was 5.5 LPA and the average package was 4 .1 LPA. The companies that visited the campus were Deloitte USI, Deutsche Bank, Northern Trust, Tresvista, Credit Suisse, Ernst and Young GDS, Teach for India, EY India, ElasticRun, Xqtiv Healthcare and GOMO Group offering positions varying from audit assistant, tax analyst, assurance and financial associate, HR analyst etc. The placement cell recorded a total of 64 students till date getting placed during 2020-21. Since I am doing the Acca degree, after completion, I plan to take 3 years of work experience to become a full Acca member. After taking full acca membership, I plan to do an MBA.
