SCAC Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The internship club is available to the first semester students itself and placements began usually during the third year. Deloitte and EY are the two major companies among the big four that recruit students from SCAC every year. The minimum package for placement is about 2-3 lakhs while the highest can be 20 lakhs+. After completing my ACCA, I hope to be placed into one of the big fours or into an MNC that will be able to provide me an opportunity to work abroad. With SCAC, this hope seems a sound future.

From the fifth semester, students are eligible for placements. Placements are average in my college. The highest package is 6,00,00 and the average package is 3,00,000. Zipper, Wipro, etc. Companies are visiting our college. Around 75% of students are getting placements.

Because accounts were my passion for ages and wanted to become an entrepreneur. Qualification of faculty is doctorate and professors. Term exams are a six-month gap and were easy and simple. There are approximately 100 students in 7 divisions and I guess thats not too much.

I choose bcom because it is a well-organized program with theory subjects as well as practical subjects like maths, accountacy. Faculty of SCAC is very well and good with tremendous knowledge and always act as helping hands. Most of the faculties did the Phd in their teaching subjects.

I choose B.Com because for B.Com it is on the seventh all over the world. For every course, the faculty is well experienced. The teaching methods of every teacher are excellent. Not only they are teaching academics they are also teaching how to succeed in your life. They are teaching how to manage time, how to involve in extracurricular and also in co-curricular activities. They are telling which nowadays which skills are required. For Global Entrepreneurship Summit, they are helping and giving more ideas on how to innovate. They are visiting many industries along with their students. They are conducting seminars on Innovation and Business every month. Every month guest lecturer seminars are conducting.

Campus placements start from the last year of the program and many companies start visiting the campus for the placements Companies like Deloitte, EY, Deutsche Bank and many big names comes in the campus to offer placements and many students also get placed with it. Highest package is around 6 lakh and average package is around 4.5 lakh per annum . My plans are of doing MBA after getting the degree

The placement cell is pretty good with an average package that goes from 3-5 lakh. There are lots of big companies which participate in this placement like Google, Deloitte etc. And most of the people get placed with an average package from 3-5 lakh.

I'm in my second year right now, so I'm not sure when students become eligible for placements. From what I've heard from the seniors and my batchmates, they become eligible to sit in placements from 3rd year. Various companies like Delloite, E&Y, Northern Trust, etc come to the college for placements. The average package is around RS 4-5 lakhs per annum. Students find jobs off-campus as well. My plans after graduation are to go for masters. I'm not really sure about it but most probably it will be to complete my masters.

The students are eligible for placement from the 6th semester. Due to lockdown, there is a decrease in the number of placements but still, the college offers a good placement. Companies which have visited the college are Deloitte, Deutsche bank, northern trust, TresVista, credit Suisse, EY GDS and many more and the average package they offer is between 3.5 to 7 LPA. During the year 2019-20 the no. Of students who got placed we're 141 but due to the pandemic the number decreased to 70. The placement rate fell from 38% to 10%. The average package offered by the college is 4.15 LPA. The highest package was given by Deloitte USI and was for 600000 PA for the position of audit and assurance. Though the placement cell offers quite good placement opportunities, I wish to pursue MBA in Finance.
