Zakir Husain Delhi College Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Psychology is an interesting subject and i wanted to do something in this course for which i got admission in this course. The department is good as compared to other departments. the faculty is strict . the environment is strict. There are many for in each department. One paper are divided between two teachers mostly. good point - Some teachers are helpful, punctual, intelligent, supportive. bad points - strict timetable. bad coordination among faculty, no activities , no webinar for students. DU conduct exam for all its college at same time . exam are conducted semester wise . papers are not so difficult . one can get good marks after reading previous years .

In my college, the placement cell is very active and every year the companies come with exciting offers and packages. The student can eligible for placement In the 5th semester. The companies like WIPRO, OYO, Amazon come for the campus recruitment of the students. In 2020 the highest package is made of 8 to 12 lakhs and the average package is 5 to 8 lakhs. Minimum 70 % students getting placed.

Campus placement is a rare thing in this college, especially in my course. Since many other DU colleges provide placement but this college fails to provide so. Few other courses have a little bit glimpse of placement. But you can always do something else after graduation.

Exactly don't know about the campus placements and internships. My plan after graduation is to go for MA or B.Ed course. Due to online couldn't explain more about our college and their placement requirements. Online mode is also fun but there is a lot in offline mode so explore more and more.

I chose this college because it is nearest to my house. It is so disciplined and teachers are so hard working and helpful. They never skip any classes. Even some extra classes are also organised if syllabus could not get completed due to some circumstances. Although zakir hussain delhi college is not in good area but it provide quality education.

After my graduation I was planning to start my career in Mathematics and thought it be better to move to a big city for more exposure. Delhi University was my first preference. For BSc Hons Math course it was difficult to get in a north campus college or Colleges like Venkateswar in South with 92.5 best of 4 score. So, I got admission in this college in the 4th cutoff list plus the professors of the Mathematics were really good.

For internships, you can join the counseling process from the start of the first year. The placement opportunities are more for the final year students. After the degree, I would plan to pursue a career in the social sector.

I didn't bother about placements because that's not the reason I opted for this college. I just want to gain knowledge and experience in college life. My plans after college- I'm interested in government jobs.

Those student whose can complete our degree than it's go-to placement. Many companies are coming to college and student gets the placement of the various company. In the college, many companies coming to students get the opportunity to get placement. At the Zakir Husain Delhi College, the highest package is 6 lakh.

I chose Zakir Hussain College because it is one of the good college of Delhi University having more than 19 departments offering a large number of courses including the sciences, humanities, social sciences, commerce and languages. And, getting into any college of Delhi University is a dream for everyone. So, I consider myself fortunate enough to get into a good college. The admission is merit-based which starts in the month of June. The good aspects of the college is that it's one of the colleges of Delhi University where the teachers are really supportive and helpful. It has different societies of the college which helps us to enhance our skills as well as the fests of the college and departments are very great. The bad aspect about the college is that it's reputation is grossly undervalued largely because of Religion, Politics and misplaced perceptions. I have chosen Wikipedia to know about this college before getting the admission and it has given me a brief information about this college.
