My college , became my dream college.

Likes

This is afflicted college have its own campus and it actually feels different from other ipu colleges .
There are many societies working independently which you can enroll for other activities.
The accomodation is also given and it is pro hindu college.

Dislikes

The teachers have no experience in teaching , and no expertise
In law , there's a fake placement cell which is of zero value
The overall teaching is not good , and have to study on your own

Course Curriculum Overview:

The overall law course is good indeed the college provide limited infrastructure for your legal studies and also have its own legal services clinic but there is no exposure as such as no one visits the place. The teachers should be more experienced and by this the college ranking would be much more higher than it is right now. The frequency and timing of exams are somewhat similar to that of other colleges and is deriving its exam dates from the IPU main campus date sheet only.

The story of Maims

Likes

Both shifts of college shift 1 and shift 2 are start on same time in the morning
Campus is not too big and too small you can connect people by joining societes
Faculty are very good teachers are up to date of every data

Dislikes

The time table is not good classes in second year were start from 8 30 am to 3 20 pm
Campus is good but there is only 4 canteen and neither has aur conditioning
Classes are fully air conditioned but all classes don't have projectors

Placement Experience:

The placements which are given by college is done by TPC ehich is the placement cell of MAIMS. They call companies inn the college for placement. recently NBA bank has come in our college they placed 2 student with a package of 5 lakh The percentage of placement is 40 percent and the average package is about 4 lakh

My life at agrasen

Likes

I really liked how big and welcoming the campus was with people always ready to help you there and they’re generally very open and friendly
The attention to the environment as my college has it’s own green belt and it looks very decent with all the trees and plants it’s a nice place to walk
It has a very positive study environment which I really look for

Dislikes

A minority of faculty is usually arrogant and would not help you with trouble as much
The distance and the area the college is located is really in the middle of nowhere
The college does not have it’s own transport system

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college can be pretty average and not those high paying packeges. Plus it's also very merit based. After your 3rd semester you are definitely eligible for campus placements. The highest package I've seen in maims was 15 lakhs. And this was given to someone with a decent gpa but a very good co curriculur activities such as being the club president or being a representative of a group. I have not been placed yet as my course is still ongoing.

MAIMS is a mile ahead of others

Likes

First thing first and that being academics, it is one of the best in Maims, if compared with its peers like VIPS or Surajmal.
The area is big and has all the bases covered that are required in a student journey.
Multiple canteens and all serve food which enables our parents to don't wake up early and prepare our lunch boxes.

Dislikes

The nearest metro station from our college is Rohini and that too is some 4 miles, so unless one has their own vehicle commuting becomes tough.

Placement Experience:

From 4th year, our CV is being sent to T&P department. As per our CV and internships experiences we are placed and students who have done internships in A tier firms like Khaitan, Tatva Legal, Trilegal are preferred above others. A&ZB and Khaitan have been top recruiting law firms from corporate companies like Hero Group, Maruti, and Bajaj Group have been hiring top students with an average package of 6-7LPA.

Likes

The campus area is so big and clean its really progressive their are alot of space to play different kinds of games different areas are specifically designed for some outdoor and indoor sports
The faculty is this campus is really very friendly and helpful you can contact them at any point of life
Very hygienic and affordable food available in all the canteens which are very pocket friendly as a students perspective

Dislikes

Lift sometimes don't work properly but it is also corrected very quickly

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is being active and yes it does provide you employment Employment opportunities are very good this college the average package is about 12 lpa which is a good start The placement cell provide opportunities in every possible field which Is a very good strength of the society

The crowd is good, i would rate it 7 out of 10
The faculty is great, they are very helpful in every way possible
Infrastructure is great as compared to other colleges

Dislikes

College is too far from the metro station
There is no place nearby where you can hangout
Football field of the college is not really in good condition

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is really great, the student body of placement cell and the faculty which leads the placement cell is very active anf they break their records every year with better packages and placement opportunities

Satisfied with my college

Likes

Faculty is very good and is apprecianle for the same, opportunities for internships and placements need to be improved.
Campus Life is very fun, on a daily basis some of the programme is getting conducted and it's fun to be a part.
We have a training and placement cell, which helps us with it but it needs some improvement.

Dislikes

Training and placement cell needs to bring more opportunities to students
Some of the classes are lacking with basic amenities like projectorsy
Coursw curriculum is not practical enough

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible Various good advocates and reputed firms Highest is around 20 lakhs pa and lowest is around 2 lakhs pa. More than seventy percent get internship. To be in the corporate field.

Things about the college maharaja agresen college

Likes

I liked their food a lot and they prepare the food in very hygienic conditions as well as the teachers are very helpful
The sports men ship among the coaches and students who are studying
The classes are very clean as well as there are 5 canteen at reasonable price

Dislikes

It far from the metro station the roads are very bad
You have to take tuk tuk or auto rickshaw to come to the metro station and they charge 40 rs from the metro station for one side
There are so so many shops they provide ciggerate that all of the students get ciggerate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very essential as well as they have divided the syllabus in very appropriate way so that every student will understand everything in easy format as well as the teachers are very friendly the exam date have gap in the exam so that can help to to revise to study between exams and for prepare your exams

Is BBA from MAIMS worth it?

Faculty is very helpful and polite .All facilities have atleast completed masters and some have also done P.hd.They provide full notes before exam which are really helpful to study only useful materials.Apart from this college campus is really spacy

Dislikes

College is located in remotely area which have very less access to transports

Placement Experience:

I am currently in 3rd year so I have not been in placement before .So from my personal experience I can't say anything but from senior's experience package is too low so most of them pursue MBA or other master degree

Likes

Teachers and faculty is Cooperative and overall infrastructure is good .
They also provide hostel facility for people who stay in other states

Dislikes

Hotel facilities is only for boys and that too with high prices.

Placement Experience:

Students get internship offers for 3 months after the completion of 2nd year which is in campus . Placement in MAIMS is only possible after the completion of graduation in which highest package is of 9 lakh and average of 4 lakh

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies (MAIMS) is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and is considered to be amongst the top 10 institutes to pursue BBA.
