THE MELODIOUS LIFE

Likes

The campus location is far so it is good to hustle in morning, the canteen and the people working are friendly.
The sports societies are friendly and allow everyone to have a fair chance at getting in the team.
The faculty is friendly and facilities are always improving.

Dislikes

It is for a very short period of time, the college life is really short just for 3-4 years.
It is not like school the bonding is made on qualitative items like money, attitude and fame.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BA(H) Economics because I wanted to know about the supply and demand in the stock market and also learning concepts of excel and python. The course overall is tough but there is nothing I can't do is the mindset I live in. The exams durations varies for internals is 2 hours and for externals is 3 hours overall.

Things to know before getting admission in MAIMS.

Likes

I like how big my campus is so it's fun to roam around.

Dislikes

I don't like how the books were finished by the time i wanted to purchase them and the line for purchasing was also very long.

Placement Experience:

About placements of my college i don't know much because i am a first year student. But i have heard about it from my seniors and they said it's decent. There's a very high percentage of students who gets placements in our college so it is very good.

Overview of Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies

Likes

Infrastructure is quite good and campus has a good place to play sports
Faculty is quite good and well qualified.
Campus placement is also very good and placement officers are very helpful

Dislikes

Campus is very far from the nearest metro station.
There is no food outlets near the campus
The campus have very limted availability for internet connection

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as icwant to make my career in management and finance field. Student to teacher faculty ratio is not that great it is of 50 to which makes it difficult for teacher to pay attention to each sudent. The faculty is really good and well qualified. They use modern methods for teaching like use of of power point presentations and all. Exams are held twice in a semester from college's side and once a semester from the university. Exams have moderte difficulty level.

Likes

Classroom are very much good as compared to other colleges
The seats of the class are cushioned which is A very good thing

Dislikes

The college should have proper washroom which should be cleaned
The water cooler should be cleaned properly and good water should be provided

The student are eligible for placement from 5th semester onwards the get good opportunity that a undergraduate student can get companies like NTT DATA, DELOITTE, EVALUESERVE AND FEDERAL BANK comes for placement

THE RIGHT COLLEGE BY RIGHT DECISION

Likes

The classroom packed with good electric connections, AC and power.
The campus has 4 canteens, a big ground. huge campus and the auditorium.
The behaviour of the class coordinators towards parents and students.

Dislikes

the behaviour of students and the friendliness towards each other, it is very aggressive
the timing of shift 2 and shift 1 is same

I had a keen interest in developing knowledge about business management for a long time and in BBA I found out that all that knowledge is very much available and would help me in the future, There are 60 students per class and the faculties are very much well-behaved. They are qualified and treat students very properly, They do daily checks on attendance, evaluate studies of students, and help those who are struggling. The time of the exams was absolutely perfect and the difficulty was not much, I studied once before the exam day and passed the exam with good marks, it is not hard to pass

I liked the teachers and faculty here which are very helpful and nice towards the people it makes easiers for student to learn new things and understand the course more interestingly..pressure and burden here is very less and dur to which free time
Canteen here are veryy great which offers great food and tastyyy food … total 6 canteens are there in the campus which have different different menus .. Nescafe amul three local canteens and also junk items like chips and etc type shops are there
Internshipss and society which are s great helping hand in students teaches so many things gives exploration opportunities teaches new things obout life and manyy more skill development thingss i liked the clubs and society

Dislikes

The first thing i disliked was the culture here like the college vibes are sometimes empty as the cultural things are not thattt good here only two fests takes place they tooo in an year there should be moree happening thigs in college for students
The travelling is a task here our college is 7km after the rithala metro station so reaching there by auto and rickshaw like connectivity is there but its a task roads are not good and locality of our college is alsoo ya but things are now opened
The uniform culture is a big mess up thing … monday and friday you have to wear formals otherwise no rntry in the college which is a bit sad but not that big issue

I wanted to pursue ba llb it was planned for a long time here I got the course and I'm happy that I got it as college is really nice. teachers faculty And the curriculum are nice here, not so much a burden or pressure gets put on the students and the college keeps in mind that the faculty here is very highly educated and can teach students in a better way. faculties here are many and sometimes students even forget the names of faculty ss there are many of them. The teaching methods use here are very good and intellectually present The exams take place 2 times one is half the year which is called midterms of 20 marks and after that at the end of the same end term which is 80 marks. the exams in ipu are slightly easier as the syllabus is easy and with 10 days before exams you study you can maintain great cgpa.

My journey of College

Likes

Our canteen food is one of the best especially the chilli potatoes, spring roles and famous maggi.
Size of the campus and support towards sports.
Friendly behaviour of the faculty and staff.

Dislikes

Our college is situated in a very district area there is no place to explore outside of college campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do a job in the marketing field that's why I chose the BBA course. In our college, every teacher teaches around 100-150 students. Almost every teacher has completed PHD. During my first year, the internals were earlier than other years as due to COVID-19 the semesters in my first year were cut to 4 months each semester.

Placement Experience:

The college offers great placement. The average placement is 10 to 15 lakh depending on the student's capability. If we talk about the support of the college during placements then I must say that our college helps us during the placement time. Also helps us in personal growth.

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of management studies review

Likes

The Campus is Huge and modern. Classes are fully air conditioned.
It's curriculam is amazing. various events gets organized in college by societies and college.
Faculty members and Professors are very friendly and they are amazing in teaching.

Dislikes

The fees is little higher. Some students may find it difficult to afford it but still it is lesser than most of the private collges.
The campus is little far from metro. it takes time to go to college and return.

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies (MAIMS) is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and is considered to be amongst the top 10 institutes to pursue BBA.
