Experience Of Maharaja Agrasen

Likes

The campus area of college if very good , surrounding of buliding, as there are seprated area divided for every department of study .
Also have a different types of society in college ,where student can participate according to their intrest.
The staff and professor of college is very good ,behaviour of taking to student is very good and polite

Dislikes

The area where college is situated is very open means no too much availability of resources near by its

First of all, courses are offered by ggsipu university overall all subjects are good , study are good , teaching method of teacher are good sometimes it becomes difgicult to understand as not every teacher explains all things clearly..

Law department at Maims

Likes

great faculty which is well experienced and their way of teaching is very good
good crowd who are well educated and are hard working
campus is good and very engaging u can do many things within the campus itself

Dislikes

it is having a small campus and a very large crowd
in the good students there are a few people who are not good and are spoiling the environment
there is 85% reservation for the people who are from delhi

Placement Experience:

the placement from by college is below average as no firms related to law come to the college and hire people/ students from the college but then there are many seniors who opt for off campus placements and they are doing very nice in their life

College life as 1st yr student

Likes

Teachers are very helpful,kind and knowledgeable
Campus is huge and the infrastructure is nice
Crowd is comparatively better than the DU ones and all of them are extremely nice

Dislikes

Uniform criteria for two days in a week is a bad thing as it gives the feeling of school and all
Attendance criteria as it is set to 60 percentage is also not considered a good thing according to me
Fest and events are not based on anything which is a bad one

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness a 8. The course is decent and would help me in future for pursuing masters. The course will also help me in my internship in college.

My Wonderful College

Likes

The size and the feel of the campus and the building.
Great faculty and the way of teaching and explaning the content to the students.
The infrastructure of our classroom in bery nice and comfortable.

In my course students are eligible for campus placement in there 5th semester. There are many companies which comes to my colleges for plcements like dabur,cadbury,etc. There is a highest package of 20 lakhs and a verage pakage of 6 lakh. Almost 80-90% of students get placements.

Likes

It's connectivity with places and easy to get transport and pg and flats for students.
College also provide sports facilities and ncc...apart from it canteens and big campus for peace.
Academic wellness and societies made for students

Dislikes

College has less seats for law student only 180 for ballb and bballb has 300 max
Big timetable and strictness in study makes it sometimes hectic for students
Attendance problem with minimum attendance of 75 perce8

You can be eligible for placement in 8th sem and apart from campus placement there are options of off campus placements, civil services, and judiciary is a field where every law student try their luck atleast 1 time. Like I am personally thinking for upsc and second option as litigation. Highest package of college for law is about 10 lacs and avg is 5 lacs...about 70 percent placement guarantee is there and roi of college is also good..many law firms and companies come to seek newbies

The necessary information on clat ailet and my college

Likes

The campus was very nice with great infrastructure.
The campus had all necessary arrangements for the law field.
Our college has a moot court which gives the students the opportunity to know law more practically.

Dislikes

The things which i didn't liked was the canteen.
The college is just basic with basic facilities.
Overall the college is good but it lacks good opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is a wonderful choice and full of opportunities and career in future.You should be concentrated on your legal aspects and all the laws and general knowledge.You should be regular in reading newspapers.

Detailed information on maims

Likes

Academics - as the college is mainly about academic thing.
Faculty - as they're helping and they communicate well
Campus - as it has good campus with almost 3-4 canteens

Dislikes

No fest, no event culture - college seems like school because of this
Strict attendance rule is there which can be disturbing if you want to do internship with college

Placement Experience:

I am not sure if there is campus placement or not but yes off campus placement is there. There were people who are working in tier 2 - tier 3 law firms. Placement depends much over your cv so make it alluring.

Maharaja Agrasen Review

Likes

Good staff, teachers support, good ambience.
Sports, Annual day, Extra xurricular activities.
Placement Support, Placement Cell and good package.

Dislikes

Located a little outside and far from the main area.
Located a little far from the Metro station.
Classes are conducted till the evening 5 pm on some days.

Placement Experience:

After the 5th semester students become eligible to sit for the placement. Various companies are visited for placement and a special placement cell is there for placement. An average package of 7L is offered and almost 70% of students are placed.

Likes

Infrastructure is good , Air Conditioner facilities are available
10 - 12 societies are present in college
Crowd is good . You will love them , very friendly

Dislikes

It is 7 km away from the nearest metro St.
There is Nothing outside the college to hangout.
Very very less events and college does not promote events and fests

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teachers of economics department are good , always ready to help , very friendly and generous . But at last it's on your own , if you won't study they can't do anything . But I would say in comparison to DU , the economics honours curriculum of IP University is way to easy .

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies (MAIMS) is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and is considered to be amongst the top 10 institutes to pursue BBA. MAIMS established in 2003 is spread over a 10-acre area, and has a total seat break-up for 240 students and a teacher to student ratio of 1:20.

The courses offered under BBA are:
