- Overall college is just average, though I don't have fun in this college

College placements are just average but beneficial for beginners as it helps to get better job opportunities.
Students become eligible for placements from the 5th semester.
Companies like Deloitte, Microsoft, Tech Mahindra, Boston, Walmart, etc visit MSI and offer students.
The highest package offered is 600000 per annum and the average package is 350000 per annum.

- Faculty is good and supportive, ground is big to play
- Free to do anything but not any wrong thing
- Some clubs are active on regular basis so you can have in them.
Dislikes
- Canteen food was not good but students however eat it
- Old building does not have air conditioners
- Your phone network will not work inside campus as there lots of wifi routers
Placement Experience:
I am in 2nd year and some internships are coming by the college but for campus placement, a BCA student is eligible in their last year of college. I have heard that Companies like De Shaw, Deloitte, TCS, Infosys, etc had come to campus but they take only a few students. The highest package as I have heard is about 17.5 lacks and the average package of 6 lakh is there I think. The percentage should be above 75 to sit on campus placement. My plans after my degree are to look for a good job and if not then do my master's.

- Best Placement Assistance provided, 100% students are placed.

Dislikes
- Low Faculty : Student ratio. Less teacher with individual subject knowledge we have been taught
- Infrastructure is not so good compared to other college of GGSIPU university, no A/c, poor water cooler, etc
- Course Syllabus is not updated by the GGSIPU University
Course Curriculum Overview:
I had taken this course to pursue my career in IT field. As after BCA many fields are open for us to go. Like Software Developer, Software Engineer, UIUX Designer, etc. According to me faculty : student ratio was not good enough, in my college same teacher with less subject knowledge was forced to teach the particular subject. Atleast 2 teachers with subject knowledge for every single subject we are studying should be there.
Exams were taken on time and difficulty level is normal. One more problem with IP University is last moment notification thing. IP University uploads datesheets just 10-12 days before the final exam because of this student faces stress as they are not able to manage there time as how to study according to the datesheet.

- Rules are very strict regarding the freely roaming in ground
- On Monday it is compulsory to be present in formal clothes
- Building of the college is quite old and require some redevelopment
Placement Experience:
Our college is quite good and reputed for campus placements. It is renowned for its 100% placement rate. College staff is also very supportive of placements, placement department is also very active and helpful.

- Teachers are great and dependable. They teach well.
- Interactive one on one relationship with teachers.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure isn't very modern. It's old fashioned.
- The canteen is very small and there is no seating.
- The classrooms don't have smartboards that function.
Placement Experience:
To my knowledge. campus placement is available after the 6th semester. Companies like Infosys visit each year to hire new potential candidates. The higest package can go up to 1.3 crores. I plan on doing my masters after bachelors.

- One of the things I liked about the college is the inclusive and supportive environment. The faculty members are knowledgeable, approachable, and supportive. They are always available to clarify doubts and provide guidance to student.
- The infrastructure of the university is excellent, with well-equipped classrooms, computer labs, and sports facilities. The university library is well-stocked with books and online resources, providing a conducive environment for studying.
- The campus life at GGSIPU is vibrant and engaging, with numerous opportunities for students to participate in extracurricular activities and social events. The university organizes several events throughout the year.
Dislikes
- I disliked about the university is the strict attendance policy, which can be challenging to maintain. However, this policy ensures that students attend classes regularly and do not miss out on important lectures.
- The university follows a strict timetable, and students are expected to adhere to it strictly. This can be difficult at times, as it does not provide much flexibility for students who may have other commitments or obligations.
- Another thing that I disliked was the lack of diversity in the student population. While the university attracts students from different parts of the country, there is still a lack of diversity in terms of ethnicity & culture.
Placement Experience:
The college has a dedicated placement cell that works towards providing placement opportunities to the students. Students become eligible for campus placements from the sixth semester of the BCA program. The placement cell conducts regular training sessions, aptitude tests, and mock interviews to help students prepare for placements.
Several top companies visit the campus every year to recruit students. Some of the companies that have visited the campus in the past include Wipro, Infosys, TCS, IBM, and HCL. The number of offers made varies from year to year, but on average, around 80% of students who participate in the placement process get placed.
On average, the highest package offered ranges from 6 to 8 LPA, and the average package ranges from 3 to 4 LPA.
After completing my degree, I plan to pursue a career in software development or web development. I also plan to continue learning and expanding my knowledge in computer science through online courses and certifications.

Placement Experience:
Students who have cleared all the exams are eligible for placements from the 5th semester. Deloitte offers the highest number of placement offers. DE Shaw offers the highest package of 26lpa. About 30% of the students get placement offers. The average package would be 3-4lpa. The students who don't sit for placements or don't land them usually go for masters either MCA or MBA or even MS in foreign countries.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Being a tech field enthusiast I always wanted to choose a IT field so I opted for BCA
currently, I m pursuing it at MAHARAJA SURAJMAL INSTITUTE, Janakpuri, new Delhi
I appeared for my entrance exam in 2021 and I secured the respective rank and got MSI which is known to be a top college.
faculty members are highly literate and they help with any sort of issues
Labs are sufficient for a class and there are 2 labs per practical subject in a week
a regulated and synchronised time table is supplied to every class
teachers here are helping and the teaching is in accordance with the syllabus

What are your reviews of Maharaja Surajmal Institute, Delhi, for a BBA?

One of my friends studied there and according to him and his classmates it isthe worst institute to pursue a BBA degree.
Below are the points mentioned which will prove why they have such an aversion towards this institute:
- Attendance is the major issue. You need to maintain at least 75% attendance. The professors can detain you at 74% attendance.
- There are only two streams - BBA (General) and BBA (Banking & Insurance).
- There are a total of six subjects in each semester. The faculty is not so good.
- Mugging up is better than understanding the topic.
- The infrastructure of the institute is outdated. The top floor is the administrative block, and the ground floor is for the campus.
- No enthusiasm is shown for extra-curricular activities.
The college environment is a mix of decent students and dull students from various schools. MAIT and other below-average colleges conduct the seminars. The college timing is from 8:10-1:30, with a 20 minutes break at 11:00. There are six classes in a day. It feels similar to a school.
