- Meeting some of the best people I could have asked for and creating a strong friendship with a few. I have built a social network here that I will treasure my whole life.
- Finding and being able to be taught by some sweet teachers who are always there to guide me. Very grateful for that.
- Getting exposure in the field of giving interviews, participating in GD through the campus drives. And being able to speak more confidently through class projects and presentations.
Dislikes
- Last minute announcements which have caused so much inconvenience
- Lack of Income tax faculty in my college which gave our class a disadvantage and lower hand at the subject.
- Getting most campus recruitment in sales department. A variety of fields is much needed.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I was a commerce student in school and I decided to opt for BBA because this field interests me. My course commenced in December 2020. As my college used to run online mode due to the pandemic, I had a little bit of difficulty adjusting to the mode. But while being in online mode, all important notes and study material were provided to us by our teachers. They also used to try to make the classes more interesting through presentations and activities. 3 initial semesters out of the 6 were spent via online mode. Then, the Government permitted universities to reopen colleges which was a very happy moment because the offline mode of education teaches much more than just academics. On 14th February 2022, we attended college for the first time in our 4th semester. The faculty was helpful and lenient as students were trying to adjust to the offline mode yet again. The teaching method used by the faculty was perfectly paced and explanatory. Regular class tests were taken. Exams were regular.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course specialized in banking and insurance and I opted for it because I wanted to go into the finance field The student ratio would be 5:55 5 teachers for 5 subjects and 55-60 students in each section The faculty was very knowledgeable and qualified, and all the information about the faculty is available on the Maharaja Surajmal college website. The exams were conducted promptly and the difficulty level was between moderate to difficult. The passing criteria would be to score at least 25 marks out of 60.
Every faculty member is very helpful they are well qualified. If you are taking admission to MSI then one thing is for sure you will have to attend regular classes and study hard. Because faculty gives their 100% to every student and expect the same from others.

Placement Experience:
Campus Placements and companies start to visit from the start of the final year itself. Many companies do come like Deloitte, TCS, Wipro, sap, etc. at an average package. And the best one is DE shaw which offers 21+ LPA. A lot of students get placed on average entry-level packages and a lot of students don't show interest even after sitting in placement.

college placement is 100% for who are seeking placements and they also provide training in placement Group discussion CV build etc. they also support higher studies and enternpenurship. The college faculty is also supportive.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course BCA is for 3 years and genuinely the faculty is really amazing very helpful supportive and encouraging towards the students helps with every problem students get in the college regardless of whether its related to the subject or some other college problem like fee submission class timing projects internships etc. The all-over college staff is Excellent and For BCA specifically, there is a Sir Named Mr.Suraj pal Chauhan (Mr.SP Chauhan sir such a great teacher and will help the students in their entire college life if you behave well in the college sir Is also the hostel and a member of placement cell in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course because I wanted to be in the corporate sector and do MBA in the future student ratio was good at 10:1 teacher qualification was mostly Ph.D. and most of the books were written by teachers exams were taken every sem one viva assignment and 70marks final exam which consists 4 questions

Placement Experience:
The college took 2k extra as the placement fees in our 3rd year and we got placement offers mostly related to marketing jobs and the packages were around 3-4 LPA. If 20 companies visited 15 of them were marketing jobs. From my batch of 55 hardly 10 people were placed as everyone does not want to apply for a marketing job.

Placement Experience:
The students became capable of campus placement in the 6th semester
Companies like DE Shaw, AIM India group, SHL, etc visited for placements
The highest package offered was around 20 lakh
And almost more than 70% of students got placements.
My plan after getting the degree is to study further for my master's.

Placement Experience:
I didn't sit for the placement but yeah my friends did. An overview given by them is that some companies are providing good packages where some do not. I plan to pursue actuarial science.

Many companies come for placement and college also provides a good company with a good reputation where you can start your professional life.
Students who have a back can not sit in the placement. So for that, you should be very careful to be good at academics.

What are your reviews of Maharaja Surajmal Institute, Delhi, for a BBA?

One of my friends studied there and according to him and his classmates it isthe worst institute to pursue a BBA degree.
Below are the points mentioned which will prove why they have such an aversion towards this institute:
- Attendance is the major issue. You need to maintain at least 75% attendance. The professors can detain you at 74% attendance.
- There are only two streams - BBA (General) and BBA (Banking & Insurance).
- There are a total of six subjects in each semester. The faculty is not so good.
- Mugging up is better than understanding the topic.
- The infrastructure of the institute is outdated. The top floor is the administrative block, and the ground floor is for the campus.
- No enthusiasm is shown for extra-curricular activities.
The college environment is a mix of decent students and dull students from various schools. MAIT and other below-average colleges conduct the seminars. The college timing is from 8:10-1:30, with a 20 minutes break at 11:00. There are six classes in a day. It feels similar to a school.
