The scholarship also grants to good students, their placement training and assistance are brilliant, and our college is always ranked in the highest placement ratio.
Our college gives a huge opportunity to each and every student to get placed in the reputed company and they can a get a good idea of how the interview done
Teachers are really helpful and are passionate about their subject and motivate us to make changes in the learning experience .they provide helpful meaningful notes for students to prepare for exam.they do listen to students suggestions while teaching.

Dislikes

College canteen is not so good. the food they provide its not good
The average package is very low . last placements were not so good .
Hostels are not good there..students prefer more for pg and own flat,as hostels also don't have good mess as there foods are not good.

College review of UEM Kolkata

Likes

The library is too big and there are sufficient books to read.
The faculties are so friendly and good they helps us very much.
The rules and regulation of the college built the students.

Dislikes

There is a dress code in the college student pay a huge amount for this.
There is no play ground here so we can't play freely.
The campus is too small it just start and end here

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible for their campus placements. There are many companies visiting in our college. Like Samsung, Infosys, whipro, TCS etc etc. The highest package of our college is 72lpa and the avg package is 8 lpa here. Almost every students get placed here. After getting my degree I want to do some higher studies and search for govt job.

Likes

The discipline of the college is too nice to have.
The cleaning process and good environment,I like it in my university.
The encouragement from faculties motivates me a lot.

Dislikes

There is no attachment to playground to play sports.
The disciplines and rules are too strict to follow
There is some glitch in the official website of University which needs to be improved.

Placement Experience:

Form 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Samsung, Capgemini etc companies are visite the campus for placement. The highest package is 72 lakh in UEM campus. Almost 100% gate the placement. After getting the degree I'm interested in masters.

UEM in a nutshell.

Likes

The friends and the college life that I had .
The cultural program and the tech fest that took place .
The scope of opportunities that some faculty members have made for us .

Dislikes

The over strict behaviour of the college authorities.
The lack of communication between students in some cases .
The unavailability of AC or proper ventilation in classes .

Placement Experience:

The students are provided with campus placements from 3 rd year onwards and the average package vary from 4-5 LPA , whilst the highest on campus package was 64 LPA . Companies like TCS , Accenture , Capgemini , etc. visit for campusing .

good professors they are very talented..
we have a beautiful canteen where we can spent some free time
it is well connected to roads.buses are always available

Dislikes

they are very strict to students, the rules are very strict
long class hours are very hectic sometimes
some professor are over strict n they don't know how to teach properly

i am passionate about HR so i choose MBA for my higher studies. plus after doing MBA one can get job very easily in different sector.u will get industrial visit which will help you to learn from expert

Likes

Amenities in college is too good and facilities is available
Sports club is well equipped and provides higher scope for practice
Cafeteria is too good is food is also amazing

Dislikes

There is uniform system in college which might be uncomfortable in summer
Time table is not flexible you will not get much time to hangout
Size of campus is also little bit smaller.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester you will be eligible for placement sitting Big companies also visit here including SAMSUNG, INFOSIS, TCS , GODREJ and many Highest package claimed by college is 72 lakh and average package provided is Rs. 8 lpa for CSE

My Beautiful and sweet College

Likes

Faculties are very helpful and we'll educated .they have so friendly behaviour with us .
The education system is very good like...the faculties creat a WhatsApp group for all the students to have their doubts and queries.
I liked the classrooms and washrooms of the college. It is so clean.

Dislikes

I disliked the timing of the college. We need to wake up early in the morning to go to college.
I disliked the all dislike of my like which I can't dislike.

Placement Experience:

From 5 or 6th semester students became eligible for campus placements. Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Google, Cognizant, IBM, Capegemini Minimum 80% students getting placements. After getting degree i want to do higher studies like MBA or Mtech

Likes

The faculties are humble and friendly to the students.
The classrooms has speakers and projectors.
The library has a lot variety of books and journals

Dislikes

I don't like the college uniform as it maintains it very strictly .
There is no playground for outdoor games
The cafeteria of the college is too small to accomodate all the students.

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Tcs Wipro cognizant capgemini and many more companies have visited our college for placement purposes. Many offers were made. 72 lpa was the highest package. Mostly everyone here gets placement as the college is renowned for giving us placements. I want to do mtech

The library are to big and there are many books for read.
The faculties are very helpful and they are friendly to us

Canteen is very good there is a lot of things to eat.

There is no playground to play we have to play in the basement.

I have chosen computer science as l have interest in computer science and different softwares. The faculty members in this university is really helpful and good and there are two term exams in one semester and one end semester and offcourse the practicals.

Why am I getting so negative reviews about UEM Kolkata?

UEM Kolkata has been the highlight of negative views lately and here are the reasons:

It is fairly new and hasn’t reached any milestone yet which makes it unreliable according to the standards set in society. People don’t trust newly established private universities.
The entrance exam of UEM Kolkata is very easy and people pass it without any problem.
UEM Kolkata is new and therefore has no accomplishments and therefore uses the records of UEM Jaipur which makes parents skeptical.
The Institute has a very strict environment and therefore comes in the way of students who want to enjoy their college life. These students somehow convince their parents that the Institute is not good for them.
UEM Kolkata had issues with UGC(University Grants Commission) and is not recognized by the government and therefore it creates doubts about the degree among students.

These are some of the reasons why some students will be skeptical about joining UEM Kolkata. Talk to the students presently studying there as they can only provide you with the exact information. Try visiting the institute beforehand and decide for yourself.
