Nirmala Memorial Foundation College of Commerce and Science Mumbai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I did choose this course because i want to enter in It field. I wanted to learn skills in computers. They had good student ratio in these It section.50 students per class. There were 3 divisions. The Practical teaching was good in Nirmala college, but the theory Teachers were boring ,they make concepts less interesting. Practical teachers were good. In a year, there were 2 semesters and 4 unit tests in total,2 unit tests before 1st sem and 2 unit tests before 2 sem. In total we have 6 semesters in 3 years of duration. Practical exam is there before each semester.

I choose this course because I am doing ca after 12th for and many ca students opt bcom as their optional study for background for eg if I am not able to clear my ca but I am able to complete my graduation so because of that I can do my post-graduation in mba or any professional degree the teacher in this college are very good and if you are a ca students you will get attendance benifit because of it you can focus on your chatered accountant preparation

I choose this course because I k like to do . their teaching also good easy to understand .and library is also helps students .I am also recommend to students it's best college that I have see. All facilities provided there

I am good at maths and accounting so I have selected this course. The teachers are well qualified to teach you the subjects. The faculty students ratio can be 1:2 as there is the same faculty that teaches us for admission and placements. They will guide you if you need any kind of help in your studies and career goals. The exams are MCQ based for the last two years. There are two exams in each semester - unit exams(i.e. internals) and final sem exams. In total there are 6 semesters over three years. The term exams were a little difficult than unit exams. The internal exams have 1 hour for 25 marks as well main sem exams also has 1 hour for 75 marks.

The college faculty is competent to teach all the subjects. They will support and help you with each query. The teachers are good at challenging us and bringing out the best of our talents.The teachers are qualified with MBA, PhD, b.ed degrees. Some teachers due to engaging in other groups such as admission faculty, placement cell, cultural activities postponed their lectures and then teach only from an exam point of view which is really not good. The college must hire different people for admission and other stuff so that they can focus on teaching concepts more clearly. I am a commerce student, I love finance. I wanted to learn further in this field and how the government policies like taxation, monetary, etc so I went for this course. The exams are divided into six semesters over three years. It is not very difficult to pass the exams as the college faculty helps and guides you before exams as revision lectures are started prior 15 days of exams.

I had chosen this course because there is great scope as well I do have an interest in accounts and finance. The college has well-qualified professors with MBA, Ph.D. degrees. There were timely revision lectures before unit tests as well as semester exams. Term exams are held twice each year (in total 6). Exams seemed to be easy as the concepts were perfectly taught by the professors. If one just attends the lectures properly and revises them then can easily pass.

The college placement are mostly for second and third year students. The college placement has now made another special Whatsapp group where only placement notices are posted. And the same is also updated on the college website portal. But till now, I felt the companies which had placement opportunities had only 1-2 openings mostly. There are very very less placements for 1st and 2nd year students I am currently studying in my second year I will give the update in about third year. We haven't visited any companies yet. But the college did kept a job fair last year. But, I didn't find that great opportunity. I have asked some alumni they told they did had industrial visits. But due to vivid restrictions it is not possible now. My plans after degree would be to do professional course like CA.

Placements of jobs are mostly in third year of college.Second and first-year students don't have that great opportunity yet. But, the college is trying to give ample of opportunities. Just recently, they have created a different group for just job placements and they also keep updating the college's website for job and internships. I don't know about the salary package since I haven't applied for any job yet. Right now I am into internships and focusing on my studies more. My plans after getting degree is to have a great job in a MNC firm.

Like I told you can apply it in second year in some companies. Yet, we haven't visited any company. There was a job fair conducted in the first year. But, I there were not much openings. The companies had only 1or 2 openings in many cases. I have not seen any high profile package jobs from our college for second year students but there may be in the third year.

We haven't visited any company yet. Though the college placement cell has kept various job fairs. You can apply for a job for the second year as well but mostly in the third year. I haven't applied to any of them so I have no idea of the salary packages offered.
