Sports is a very active space of our college,while campus is remarkable and beautiful with all facilities
The senior faculty and staff members are really very well throughout their respective subjects .they are well literate and promote good quality education among the students....they give a brief knowledge of the subject
First of all , the placements are pretty decent and roi are really good for the upper branch like computer science, info tech , electronics instrumentation and electronics communication the average package is between the 9 lpa to 11 lpa

Dislikes

There was an annual fest called ayaam but it closed due to a fight between students during the event and now no such events in college.
The placement is decent but it has gone down severely in the recession period.
Many of the faculties are soo much good btw some of them are horrible as they do not support students.and i also dislike the 75% attendance criteria as it is not got for students who want to do other activities.

Reality of sgsits beyond Rumor

Most of sports facilities available like badminton court ,tt court, basketball court, lawn tennis, vollyball court
College IP workshop contain different sections for different shops like machine , foundry , carpentry, forging, welding shop
Academic lab contains all practical knowledge equipment

Dislikes

No one enrich individual student to start play sports
Most of workshop equipment are not working condition , and not much level of practicality
They have Lab equipment, but not gives exact or precise practical use of machines

#From which semester students become eligible for campus placements- 7 semester students eligible for placement. #Name of the Companies visited & no of offers made- Shakti pump, Havells, Asian paints, delotte, lic, no of visiting companies decreased from past year. #Give details of highest and average package as per company and profiles offered- max placement 22 lpa and average package - 8 lpa in ip brance Percentage of students getting placements- 70 % student got placed from college side # Your plans after getting the degree- private entrepreneurship started our own plateform and providing jobs .

Review of SGSITS INDORE.

Likes

Best faculty and good alumni network and college greenery.
Campus area is not so big but greenery is good.
The highest placement of our college is around 33 lpa in 2023

Dislikes

The criteria of 75 percentage is not so good.
The boys hostel of our college needs to renovate.
The difficulty level of end semester exam

Course Curriculum Overview:

My brother told me about this course . For this i went to Kota in 12th class and join Allen Institute. The teaching facility is good but according to it needs to theoretical part and improve practically. The exam level is moderate.

Friends which you get in the collage you love most.
Place where it is built is between the main city.
Infrastructure of the collage is amazing.

Dislikes

Strictness of the teacher and professors.
If you wants to enjoys mostly then this is not for you.
College and canteen gets locked in night.

Placement Experience:

It's all about your hardwork. If you work hard in the collage and upskill yourself it is very obvious that you will get good placement. From 5-6th semester students can sit in the placement. Many companies like TCS , Tridents, Aditya Birla etc visits in civil engineering and offers good amount. Till known 45 lpa is the highest placemen in civil engineering and students also participates in off campus placement and gets placed in company. Some of them including me will prepare for govt jobs.

Campus is very large and beautiful
The faculty are very good and helpful

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement in the eighth semester. Decent number of companies visit every year with some decent paclages . Moreover the resume and personality of the student is what would decide his / her package .

MY COLLEGE JOURNEY

Likes

Teachers were good and supportive, the tests were of a good level.
The quality of students were really good,
the club events were the highlight of my college life.

Dislikes

Campus area was way too small. and we could not get much of the college campus
some students were really bad in behaviour, there was partiality between day scholars and hostelers.
the concept of labs being organized in the evening was a bad idea.

Placement Experience:

The end of 6 Sem marks the beginning of the placements. There are almost 100+ companies every year that hire from the college. Highest 22 LPA by Goldman Sachs and lowest 3-4 LPA by TCS. 90% students get placed in top 3 branches. My plan is not to be told , sorry

I like this institute because it's provided me a way that i can improve my practical knowledge
I like the other activities which they give us to learn different things in different places
Campus is well cleaned and the workers also good . So they communicate with students easily

Dislikes

The scholarship department management. The way faculty talk to a student that is not good
Classroom are not that much good in our department
The way main gate guards talking to a girl is not good

Placement Experience:

In this college placements criteria is good. Most of the students get placed in every department. And the max. Annual stipend they earn arround 20 lakhs pe year It's also depends on the students performance as well

I feel confident when i am in my college, it's a safe place and has a positive atmosphere. Supportive seniors and all the members of the departmental associations and even teachers are also very supportive.

Placement Experience:

We started getting placements from 7th semester itself. like Milon Laboratories Pithampur. They offer us Internship program for one year and offer 12500 rupees for every month in the year of 2022. T&P cell of the SGSITS is quite good.

A short Glimpse inside SGSITS , Indore

Campus life is pretty balanced , you will have fun throughout semester but at the time of end-sem exam it will be pretty intense situations. Otherwise you will love to hangout with your friends in campus, going to cafe ,hanging out at garden it's fun

Dislikes

The only this i don't like much is small campus area but if we look this in a positive way it is also good in some cases , you don't need to walk through your classes for long everything is nearer to you , so it is nice sometimes and sometimes not .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is one of the best competing with IITs and NITs. Almost all the faculty are phD from IIT and prestigious institute. A normal semester last around 4-5 months and the level for exam are comparing to IITs .

Connectivity: SGSITS is located at City centre and railway station and bus stand are in 1km radius
Campus: campus is small, old fashioned, not all facilities available, some buildings are on verge of falling down but above all the Campus is lively, clean and green

Dislikes

Small campus - campus is quite small. One can just have a walk around the college in a matter of 10 minutes.
Hosteller and Day Scholar rivalry: students of the college are involved in this rivalry (not all students) which somehow also effect friendship, clubs recruitment and many more things

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are not that good. Everyone here says that placements are good and are right if compared to other colleges in Indore(except IIT Indore ????) . Most of the students out of those eligible for campus placements are placed . Some get good package , others get moderate packages and the rest get lower packages. Getting placed or getting placed in a good company or not getting placed is totally in the hands of the individual and his preparation for the same. Major companies arriving our college are Goldmann Sachs , Deutsche Bank, Deloitte, Asian piants , MasterCard. Many off campus opportunities are also available for students and every year a lot of student opt for that
