Remarks
Overall it is good. It is the place where you can enjoy your BTech life to a maximum extent. Environment of college is so good. There are bad things as well as good. What will you become, depends on what you choose either bad or good.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is extremely good. Course covers almost all the cse subjects in 4years. Curriculum is designed in such a way that no pressure on student will be imposed. Regarding exam structure, we will be having one midsem and end semester and it will be for a gpa scale of 10.
Placement Experience
Placements for cse background are extremely good. Nearly 85% studenta gets placed every year. There is no need to worry about placements. Top companies like microsoft, amazon, uber visits campus every year for full time as well as for interns and they offer good package too.
College Events
Many events will be conducted in the college where you will be having lot of fun. There are 3 big fests celebrated evert year where you can enjoy very well. Many festivals are also celebrated. Many workshops are also conducted by different clubs.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure depends on the income and and the caste. If you are having a income below 1 lakh you will be charged 8k per semester. If your income is between 1-5 lakh you will be charged around 28k and for above 5lakh you will be charged 69k per semester. If you are from sc or st you need to pay around 8k.
Fees and Financial Aid
Firstly, coming to scholarship, one can apply for various scholarships but can receive only one if you are selected for more than one. If you are having good 12th marks scholarship will be provided. Loan facility is available with in the campus. You can apply for loan either in SBI or Canara which is in campus itself.
Campus Life
There are good grounds and facilties are also good. There will be a annual sport meet and inter NIT tournaments will be held every year. First year students should opt for a sport and should attend it everyday morning from 6.30 to 7.30 Lab facilities are also good but are old.
Hostel Facilities
Every student will be given hostel room and mess fee is around 3k per month and room is obviously free. Infrastructure of hostel is very good. New hostel which is of 13 floors is going to be opened soon. Cot, study table and chair will be provided.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, obviously helpful. When you get passed out only they can help you when you get job in various cities. Even during exams, they are very helpful as they suggest what to read and where to read. Network is also good as you can find them in every company.
Admission
To get admission, one need to write JEE Main after 12th and should get atleast rank of 9000 rank for a general student to get seat in cse. If you need other branches it is okay if your rank is below 18k.
Faculty
Faculty are good. Teaching is fine. Knowledge of faculty is also good. They are student frirndly too. Some may not be. They even encourage on your interests. They provide whatever you require for your interested project to get completed.
