Remarks
The college is great but could do better with proper budget management and a newer course curriculum, but it's nitpicking honestly because it regularly takes steps to stay relevant and give students a great experience.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is a little dated but still effective, there is 40 marks in internals such as mid semester exam and attendance and assignments and other 60 is assigned to end semester exam. The practical courses mark's are distributed through out the experiments and a final viva.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunity is one of the best qualities of this college as almost 70% overall student gets placed in desired places. The college also provides internship opportunities and can be availed by sitting in exams.
College Events
There are three main events Robocon- where technical teams meet to show off their robot building prowess. Aarohan - a general technical festival where every kind of technological events take place. Recstacy- An annual festival which creates a blend of technical and cultural events and is the largest one.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's feasible as it's measured according to the family annual income. If someone's family has very poor annual income he/she doesn't need to pay the full fee. The maximum a student has to pay varies according to his admission process as well.
Fees and Financial Aid
Iccr scholarship is great scholarship facility as it offers a great stipend along with most of the semester cost and accommodation fees. And there are sbi loan facilities for student who are in need.
Campus Life
There are some mandatory extra curricular activities but the tedious academic room leaves very few opportunities for doing daily extra curricular activities. The labs are of great quality and most of the sports team have coaches and trainers and enough equipment.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is great although the food quality leaves something to be desired. The hostels have a round the clock cleaning crew which ensures an hygienic environment. The security is great.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is great and they help in many a sectors such as personal project budget, collaborates with the training and placement office to bring companies and holds seminar about what to expect once out of the college.
Admission
I got admission by applying through ICCR scholarship scheme. Where I attended a general exam and viva and gave choice of subject and course and after this college chose to select me, I got my offer letter.
Faculty
The faculty of the college are great with students as they have many years of experience and the environment is very friendly as the senior professors act as guide and helps us understand the courses better.
