Remarks
I love my college, this is the place where I have created more than hundreds of memory and they are unforgettable, every seconds full of surprises, the life lessons, the Loving friends etc are the major one.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum needs to be updated for all departments especially in the CSE, EE, ECE etc. It needs to include the Production, industrial level work culture otberwise students have to face a lot of difficulty while switching to job from student or internships etc. Exam structure is although good but not well.
Placement Experience
Placements process needs to define again, Seriously this is a big issue or threat for the students in their careers, Authorities needs to be think that it's not only the responsibilities of students for their placements but they must include some responsible person in their placement cell instead of workers who don't know how to deal with the HRs or Recruiters.
College Events
Technical fests Aavishkar, Aarohan and Cultural fests like Recstacy and the best Events conducted by the Clubs like PRAKRITI, LC, Recursion etc which includes Ensignia, Envoice, Runit, NitMun, Coding challenge etc
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible because it is divided in terms of income of their Parents as per the rules by the Central government, now every student gets the opportunity to fulfill their dreams. Money is no more a barrier in their education.
Fees and Financial Aid
No scholarship for general students but there are certain scholarship for Sc, St, OBC students but yes you have the facility of loan by the banks present in the college premises like SBI and Canara bank.
Campus Life
They are quite good in our college but still the ground like lords, ovals needs to be maintained properly so that students play there. We have so many extracurricular activities conducted by many Clubs in the College. so if you are a fresher keep enthusiasm full of tank, it can be used in many of these events.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes we have a good alumni network, and they are very helpful no doubt, senior students are always ready to help you in case you are facing any problem regarding your study, attention, personal life, mental health etc.
Admission
Yes, you have to submit the jee main rank sheet and some documents which is mentioned in the website (www.nitdgp.ac.in) like adhaar card, medical certificate, anti-ragging affidavit etc. followed by Payment receipt. After this Congratulations you are now a student of NIT Durgapur, they have guide you through the hostel if you are first year student and that's all.
Faculty
Faculties are well but still they need to think from student side also like to motivate them for their better future in that field in which students are interested inspite of forcing on Gate or something in which students are not interested.
