Remarks
Our college just have brand name. We have a good sports ground and pretty good Infrastructure. The college is more over a savarna Institution. Most of the students belongs to upper caste. And it's not friendly to lower caste, dalits and minorities.
Course Curriculum Overview
Its very pathetic. The entire curriculum is very much old. We are repeating what we have learnt in our school days. Teachers are not helping either. We just have to write 4 questions. But its very difficult to finish this on time.
Placement Experience
Yes. Our college provides internships and placements. Mostly they are unpaid. I have worked, but not through my college. College focuses on social services mostly, like Teach For India. In case of Paid internships, internship cell is not much good.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Expensive. Education must be free foe all. Every year, they are increasing the fees. Students belongs to poor background can't afford this. Even a department trip costs more than 6000. They don't even consider the odd.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college provide certain scholarships for the meritorius students. And also they will help the BPL students by paying back an amount of their fees. And there is only 225 sth for the pwd students. Most of them are functioning as a tribute to the governing body members and their relatives.
Campus Life
Its pretty good. We have almost all societies. The dramatic society Ibtida is quite famous. I have been a part of the quizzing society. But activities of societies such as friends corner, abstractions, alankaar, srijya, simply made me woow.
Alumni/Alumna
Not at all. I know some alumni meet are being held annually. Idk much about that. A basketball alumni club conducts basketball tournament every year. Some seniors come to college, and tell us about their success life.
Admission
I applied through Du website portal. As I have good mark in my 12th, I easily got admission in the first cut off itslef. We have to arrange many documents before coming to college. Maithry - a prestigious association of Kerala Student's in Delhi University help me to get into DU.
Faculty
Only 50% faculty is good. Other's even doesn't know how to teach. Some are very lazy to come college. Some are very harsh at students. Moreover some belongs to sanghaparivar family and islamophobic.
