Remarks
It is ragging free college and it has so many clubs namely centre of cognitive activities, maths and tech club which increase the student posture and helps the students. Negative remarks is the food provided in the hostels is mainly bengali cuisine.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good and it had been revised now which made it more better. If you are into the research fellowship it would help a lot by doing some projects under the professor s. The exam structure is also with two exams held in every semester.
Placement Experience
They are better for the mechanical engineering branch here. Almost nearly 75 companies had come for the placement process and nearly I think 5-10 companies had come for internship process. The stipend and salary would be low when compared to branches such as cse.
College Events
There will be 3-4 fests conducted anually in the college. They are very big such that the popular singer shirley setia appeared here for that fest. The participants in the events conducted by them would be also good.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure here would be based on income. If the annual income is low then the fee structure is feasible and if annual income is high then the fee structure would be high. And overall we can say that fee structure is feasible.
Fees and Financial Aid
I didn't avail any loan but my friend is availing the loan through the state bank of India. And some other banks such as Canara Bank will also avail loan. Both state bank of India and canara banks are located inside the campus which would be helpful for students.
Campus Life
There will be nearly two big grounds to play games such as cricket, football, hockey. There is also volleyball court, badminton court, tennis court. There will be also other games encouraged such as hand ball. Cultural societies such as prakriti, spicmacay are present which perform programmes such as tradition festival, kite festival.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel infrastructure is quite old as the buildings built were old and now the new buildings are built and they look good. The facilities are provided such as hot water, wifi. The food would be below par.
Alumni/Alumna
Yeah I am not aware of more information about that but there are so many alumni present and they would be visiting the colleges even. The alumni network is also good and one one club namely alumni club is present for that purpose.
Faculty
Yeah they are fine and the college should look into some more young professors for better communication. They are well qualified but some lack in expressing what they know. The main problem is the language where some professors are not fluent with the language.
