Remarks
Firstly for what i preferred this college than others is this is a smoke free campus. And also student teacher relationship is quite good here. The worst part of our college is the network connection here. It's really bad. We can't even load a link in our hostel premises.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course structure is quite well balanced. Sometimes, one or two days a week becomes hectic because of the lab consecutive lab classes. Otherwise it's pretty good. The exams are also properly scheduled. First mid semester exams then at the end, End sems. Talking about research we get to have good opportunities from our professors as they provide us with better materials and also good communication.
Placement Experience
Yeah definitely. My college provides internships. Renowned companies come here for the internships. And also the placement statistics are quite well in my college. Companies like Microsoft, Adobe and Qualcomm and others recruit students from various branches.
College Events
We have 3 big fests mainly in our college namely Aarohan, Virasat and Recstacy. Other than these there are also few small fests like Quizzitch cup and etc. Talking of the festwe had aarohan 2020 just 4 days ago and really it was awesome.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure is affordable here. As this is a government college so we get some concession in the college fees. For a general category student he has to pay approx 50k per semester as college fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
This is a central government college amd all the goverment scholarships are what we collect. Other than that there is no such scholarships which are solely provided by the college itself. And talking about the loan , the banks situated in the campus provides the students education loans.
Campus Life
Gender ratio would be 4:1 here (boy :girl). Like other technical clubs there are also some other clubs which focuses on cultural activities. Like few days ago we had uttarayn which was based on makar sankranti and had artanged a kite festival which was very good.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are quite good here. Actually the college authority is making new hostels for the students. Only for the first year students a separate hall was built. Now another hall of probably 12 story is being built amd will be alloted to students on this upcoming year maybe.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors here are really very nice here. Whenever we had came across any sort of problem and informed them , they have tried to help us. Even some of them also had given me books. We had many clubs in our college, there also the seniors act very cool with us.
Admission
I got admission in cs department in this college through counselling conducted by JoSAA in this year. I chose this college over others as it's in my home state and also the placement records are well specially in my department.
Faculty
Some of our faculties are really excellent as they have teaching experience of over decades. They have their own prepared slides which really makes our study load less. Sometimes they also teach us things outside our course which make us more interested about the subject. And obviously there are some who definitely knows many thing but the way of teaching is not that good.
