Remarks
The vibe and the opportunities the college has are great. The college provides the best environment for one to grow in all aspects be it socially or mentally. Sometimes politics can be a hindrance in smooth running of the college and students' life.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum wasn't completely as expected. It exceeded my expectations and was far better than what other courses could teach me. The readings I was prescribed were the one of the best works in literature. The classes are mainly calm and chilled which gives a better environment of learning
Placement Experience
The placement cell of my college is great but unfortunately my course doesn't have many options. The internship cell too is very active. The guidance and options are great. One could easily take up an internship. The big fours of the country: KPMG, EY, Deloitte, PWDC are some of the companies with a stipend that varies from course to course.
College Events
The events held in my college are really great. My college holds the best annual fest of the university - MECCA which gives the college an edge over others. Other events like Mushaira and Vaktavya are also held.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible as the institution is run by the government. The facilities, the teaching staff are great when compared to the fee one has to pay. The amount varies with course but is mostly near INR 10000 an year.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am not sure of any scholarship/loan facility offered by my college. I am not quite sure if the college provides scholarship facilities as admissions are completely based upon the merit list and thus different colleges all over the university are categorized according to the same.
Campus Life
The field of extracurricular activities is very vast in the college. From sports to indoor activities, students can take part and choose from various options. All the activities are held with great enthusiasm and participation is quite competitive. Students are mainly the head party when it comes to holding the events or activities which gives it a fun touch and interaction is maximum. The activities see participation from all the groups of students, girls and boys take part equally.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, senior students & Alumni are really helpful. Senior wing of the college is one of the best things about it. The help and guidance on get from the seniors is really helpful in paving the future path of the person. Many alumnis are connected via LinkedIn and other social networking sites and provide direction to attain professional experience. Moreover, daily interaction with the seniors gives constant motivation and know-how to get a certain task accomplished.
Admission
I had a good hold in English and was passionate about reading fiction. I was waiting for the merit list but the initial ones for quite high for my grades so I took admission in some other college. I was lucky enough the merit dropped and I got into Hindu.
Faculty
The faculty of my college is really amazing. The professors are great and well versed in their respective subjects. They are like mentors to me. All the teachers are helpful and do a brilliant job when it comes to provide the best knowledge in literature.
