Remarks

The positive remark of my colleges is that they will try every bit from their side to make us place in some companies for other companies. Negative remarks for colleges that they can increase the number of activities across the year and not only depend on the society that runs in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is divided such that we could learn about the petroleum field industry bit by bit across the four years. The exam is conducted every semester which includes mid semester exams as well as end semester exams.

Placement Experience

3.5

The college providers with internship after your winter 3rd year of engineering career the internship are done in various private companies as well as in public sector companies such as ONGC. The internship done in private companies to provide us with stipend and both private and public sector companies to provide us with lot of experience that we can use in our upcoming life as a petroleum engineer. The placement in our college for the core job has been limited to around 30 to 40 percentage but everyone get placed in the non core job field and hence getting the placement percentage to around 95 to hundred percent.

College Events

4.5

The cultural fest in our college very timid as compared to the other colleges event. College only holds fest in the entire year and that too with not a great celebrity to host the event. We do have different society which hold their own small small technical and cultural fest across the year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very expensive in accordance to the other universities across India any technical course here could be around 12 to 15 lacs across the four years and the hostel fees could be around 4 to 5 lacs for the four years so the total amount for the 4 year course can be around 20 lacs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship facility at our college is very limited and I have receive no scholarship from the college. The college provide scholarship to students who have lost their parents in the near past. There's also scholarship in which the top 10 percentage from each department will get 50% scholarship in their tuition fees.

Campus Life

3.5

The gender ratio here around 10% in the petroleum department. The student parties here are very limited and are banned by the University. The lab are of high standard. The sporting facility are very limited to to cricket and football in the outdoor games.

Hostel Facilities

4

Here the hostel provided by the college of very limited in seats with 3 person sharing a room with common washroom facilities. The PG and hostels outside of the college could be of great use as these are cheaper than the University campus and provide better facilities.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumini network are of great help because they provide us with the internship and job opportunities because they working in the same sector and they do help us and the university to get more student from our college in their respective companies.

Admission

I gave their entrance exam UPESEAT which is conducted every year. I choose this college because the petroleum department in this college is very good in comparison with the other colleges around India.

Faculty

5

I belong to the petroleum department so the faculty of our teaching department are mainly from the ONGC retired general manager so they have the field experience as well as the technical background to help us realise about the ongoing scenario of the petroleum industry in India as well as around the world.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on practical knowledge for real-world prep, though more hands-on application and updated content would strengthen it. Exams occur 6 times yearly; they are tough but fair for the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .
