Hindu college has been ranked NIRF 2 in India which is a proud moment for all the hinduites. Atal bihari vajpayee once said that there are two prime ministers in India, one in Parliament and the other in Hindu college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is that of CBCS. Its quite good, 75% marks are for examination and 20% for projects and presentations, 5% for attendance. They have two semesters a year. And internal assessment also take place frequently.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are unmatched in my college, there is a unique college placement cell called DISHA which helps provide and find Placements for students, which are quite valuable to cv. Stipend is around 2000 to 10000
College Events
The college celebrates it annual fest in march named as MECCA where the most distinguished personalities are invited. A literary event MUSHAIRA is held where poets and artists are invited to embrace the beauty of art. Every department holds its fest where different competitions are held and speaker are invited from different parts of the country.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very feasible since its a government institution. The fees range is around 16 thousand to 20 thousand an year. Also it is for lesser for scheduled castes and scheduled tribes. But it is pretty feasible.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college offers scholarships to the merit rankers in every course in every year. Also they get to meet eminent personalities and work with them. They also get some waiver in their annual fees. That's all the knowledge I have.
Campus Life
Females are as much as males in the classroom. Hostel organizes parties for every festivity, be it holi, diwali, lohri, independence day or republic day. The Hindu College is quite famous for its V tree puja on valentines day, it is organized by boys hostel. The college engages well in political and economical issues.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are very cooperative and friendly. Anti ragging posters and authorities are setuin college. From day one seniors try to engage with juniors. Societies help the same. Also alumni often talk about how college has groomed up their personality.
Admission
The students are expected to fill the Delhi University form, after which the merit list comes for different colleges under the university. Delhi university has one of the most prestigious colleges in India. Hindu college cut offs are quite high. We take our documents on the admission day and get verified and admitted if we clear the cutoff.
Faculty
Teachers are very well qualified. Most teachers have done masters from renowned colleges and are doing doctorate from colleges like oxford university. They are always eager to help students and interact with them.
