Remarks

College is completely ragging free which is quite good.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

UPES is a decent college with good faculty. Some faculty have done their PhD from IITs itself. There are specialization in each course which help students to become industry ready as soon as they graduate. Research and Development department of the college also help students to grow as an inventors.

Placement Experience

4

Coming to placements in UPES it is one of the best from many private colleges in India. Many companies visit the companies for placements and internships. If you have the skills and knowledge you can get the job in your dream company with very minimal efforts. My branch have the 95 percent placement percentage which is quite good.

College Events

4

UURJA is the annual event celebrated in the college generally in October or November month. It is the 2 day fun packed event with lots of events and competition. Many Nationwide artists are invited and lit the event even more after all it is what we call 'uurja'

Fee Structure And Facilities

Coming to the fees it is also one of the most expensive college in India. Annual fees for B. Tech in UPES is around 3.5 lakhs which cost 14-15 lakhs for 4 years. This only includes turion fees and other things excluding living expenses. In campus hostel cost you around 1.6 laks per annum which cost around 6.5 lakhs for 4 years. It also increases every year. So on average you have to pay 24-25 lakhs for your B. Tech degree in the UPES which itself is quite expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

UPES provides upto 50% scholarship on tution fees for students on different criteria. Domicile students are appllicabe for scholarship if they have scored more than 85 % in their Intermediate exams.

Campus Life

4.5

UPES is situated around beautiful mountains and valleys which make it one of the best place to study. The beauty around the campus bound the students to college. Great infrastructure also add another feather on the cap of UPES. Gender ratio is quite well in the college. 5 girls to 10 boys we can say. UPES have well equipped modern labs for the students. There are various sports and cultural clubs in college which helps students to grow and shape their personalities.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors in the college are very helpful towards their juniors. They treat juniors as their own brothers sometimes. Our campus is ragging free so you don't have to worry on that part either. But somehow of any case occurs in the college, strict measures are taken by the college management.

Admission

UPES college conduct an all India entrance exam which I qualified with 30th rank.UPES also gives admission based on Intermediate percentage and JEE Mains percentile. Registration forms are available for students generally after the boards exams are completed and entrance exam begins from first week of May. Once student qualify exam or shortlisted for entrance student have to attend the the counselling which is conducted in various parts of the country.

Faculty

4

Faculty members in UPES are very friendly with students and one can reach them without any extra efforts. Students can approach them as soon as class ends or ask them to appoint some time in their cabins. Faculty follows the course plan which is designed by the college but they are open to any other relevant dobts too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on practical knowledge for real-world prep, though more hands-on application and updated content would strengthen it. Exams occur 6 times yearly; they are tough but fair for the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .
