Remarks

The college has a friendly and fresh environment. As per faculties, the college campus is divided. Also sports and social work programs held for Students. I am really happy that I choose this college. Overall Tufanganj Mahavidyalay is a really reliable and effective college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is various and compelling. It covers most areas of research and theories. Easy to understand and reliable. The syllabus is well structure. Exams are taken on semester pattern. They have strict standards for an examination so students should work hard.

Placement Experience

With my personal experience, I have got the job with them only. As college have very good ties with MNCs. As per achivements students really get jobs. College provides directions and guidence to student for job. Due to an active placement cell the students can start there career as early as possible.

Fee Structure And Facilities

After completing my college i was looking for colleges online. I found our college very reliable . Even admission process is very simple. You just have go online site of college and complete enrolment. B.Sc 1 year fee is 3400/- only. For B.Sc it is must to have Mathematics ,physics, chemistry / biology as subjects .

Campus Life

College helds various events and programs . Focus on students personality development and skill improvement. Also college have student union . There are clubs Like NCC which gives students perceptive of dicipline. Also Blood donation camps, Sociel servicing days and many other activities held by college.

Hostel Facilities

College provides hostel facilities on merit basis. Its very cheap and neat . Hostel rooms are great. Mess food is also good. There are 3-4 cots for one room. The students have a very enjoyable environment in the hostel.

Admission

Candidates must apply online from the admission portal of the Tufanganj Mahavidyalaya. To apply, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board. For Honors degree, candidates must have 55% marks in the aggregate, or 50% marks in the aggregate and 60% marks in the subject opted for in the qualifying examination.

Faculty

The faculty has very qualified and experienced teachers. Most of P.Hd Teachers in Faculty. They are supportive and enthusiastic. Which makes studying and research under them very interesting. Students can reach out to the students when in any need.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

To get admission in this college, A candidate has to pass 10+2 from a recognized board conducted by the I.S.C. or C.B.S.E. or any other Board recognized as equivalent by the Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University.
