Course Curriculum Overview
The six semesters of the course basically covered all the theoretical and practical knowledge. The course was structured to help in inducing a sense of research and development amongst the students. The examination structure was the standard, having internal as well as external examinations each semester.
Placement Experience
Through the placement cell, the students were prepared for each interview during the campus placements. We had seminars and workshops to attend and understand the process of interview. Various industries attended the campus placements and handed out jobs to students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure at the Tufanganj Mahavidyalaya for B.Sc : Chemistry was the most feasible. With Rs. 3690 per year, the fees amount doesn't seem much. The college also offers scholarships for worthy students and fee considerations for SC and ST students.
Campus Life
The extracurricular activities vary from cultural events to numerous seminars; sports day to annual day and many conferences too. Outdoor sports at the Tufanganj Mahavidyalaya included football, cricket, volleyball and the indoor games played were chess and carrom.
Admission
The admission process at the Tufanganj Mahavidyalaya was online, and the admission form was of Rs. 200. After filling out the form and submitting the required documents, the merit lists were announced. Admission was strictly on the basis of merit lists.
Faculty
The professors at the Tufanganj Mahavidyalaya were all very experienced in teaching. With their knowledge and experience, they made learning a fun process for all the students, and ensured maximum learning for all of us.
