Remarks
I enjoyed the curriculum and the campus life at the institute as the university took care of it all. The non-teaching staffs were very helpful and supportive of any relevant matter to the institute as they were specially appointed for the students and administrative work.
Course Curriculum Overview
As per my view, I preferred the course curriculum as the institute included all the relevant subjects as this was the only way to give most of the knowledge in a theoretical curriculum. However, the practice was good but less in number. Exams were similar to the semester format.
Placement Experience
In my institute, the job and placement ratio is ordinary as the reputed companies prefer master? aspirants and therefore students, especially in my batch prefer to do the masters program just after the bachelor. Also, some got jobs after the internship experience.
College Events
I participated in events like inaugural programs, awareness programs, and some seminars held at the university. There were sports events where students from different institutes also participated and won prizes like cash prize and medals.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees per year were 3,395 which included the registration fees, exam fees, and other extra academic charges of library and deposit. The student at the institute paid the fees after the final exams when next semester was about to begin.
Campus Life
There were many extracurricular activities like tree plantation every weekend, students took training in National Cadet Corps and also donated blood willingly. I also participated in to maintain my physical health. Also, there was an extensive speech by the dean once every month.
Admission
The institute was affiliated with North Bengal University so I applied to a discipline Bachelor of Science where the only requirement was the scores in previous examinations. The admission process was offline and merit-based so I applied with the documents mentioned in the application form by the admission committee.
Faculty
The institute was good in terms of academics due to some qualified faculties on board and as I know of my department, we had some good faculties. They gave some tips and notes during the exams to the students.
