Course Curriculum Overview

The course is three-year-long duration with six semesters. course Curriculum of the course gives a mental ability to the learners and make them concentrate on the given topics. If we see the exam structure, we have a regular weekly test and monthly exams, these test and exam help us to get internal marks in the exam.

Placement Experience

Our college has a Career and Counseling Cell. which makes a link to help the students to established linkages with the world of jobs in private companies & Govt. firms. the Placement takes place during a certain interval of time in the whole year. Overall experience is good with the placement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college fees are very feasible. I paid approx INR 1600 for per semester which includes all the compulsory fees such as Tuition Fee, Admission Fee, Development Fee, College Exam, Establishment Fee, Student Aid Fund, University Registration Fee, Late Admission Fee, Centre Fee. The college also provides scholarships like Jadhunath Sen Merit Scholarship, Sunity Bala Sen Merit Scholarship and Maya Bhowmik Merit Scholarship.

Campus Life

The college is very good at sports. we have two big playgrounds in the college. The students play football, cricket, Kho-Kho, hockey and baseball. Also, the college organises games sports and cultural functions. the college also provides facilities such as science Laboratory, A huge Library is provided by the college which is having every type of books from the streams of Science, Arts, Commerce, Social Science and Rural Development. we have Students?Common Rooms, Students?Union, College Canteen and Students?Welfare / Aid funds.

Admission

I got admission through an online portal. My friend helped me to fill the online form which was available on the college website. I gave all of my personal and educational details on the online form. Then I uploaded all the scanned copies of the required documents of my previous school. I paid the online form fees and then the form got submitted. Minimum 55% marks in the aggregate are compulsory to apply for the admission.

Faculty

3.5

There are the best faculty in our college. All the lecturer and professor are highly qualified. The teachers explain the doubts with the simple understanding way with good examples and also provide us with suitable books for reference. especially Prof. Tuhin Sanyal, Md. Aharul Haque and Prof. Sebonti Roy Chowdhury who is the Assistant Professor of my course.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
