I was admitted through JoSAA on the basis of JEE Main score. My rank was 29695 and I took admission under the general category. All the students have to fill a choice filling form and they are allotted to the college according to their rank.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty to student ratio is about 1:7 and they are always available for the students. This institute provides one of the best programs for this course. The professors are highly qualified and do their research work.
Internships Opportunities
There are some really big companies that come to this college to offer internship opportunities like Microsoft, JPMC, Amazon, etc. The stipend is also really good with an average of about 50k/month. Core sector companies also come to hire interns like Tata, Bajaj, etc.
Placement Experience
The college offers good placement opportunities to students. Placements start at the beginning of the seventh semester and go on till the end of the 8th sem. Circuital branches promise about 90% of placements and core branches around 70%.
Fees and Financial Aid
The institute is really helpful for students with financial difficulties. If the family income is less than 1 lakh then the full tuition fee of the student is waived. If the family income is less than 5 lakh then 1/3rd fee needs to be paid.
Campus Life
The annual tech fest of the college AAROHAN is organized in the month of Feb and is the second-largest tech fest in eastern India. The institute also has a very good sports infrastructure and provides a lot of opportunities to people pursuing a career in sports
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are really great but the quality of food in the mess is not really good. Hostel life is amazing and there is a lot of freedom for students. There is no night curfew and students can roam about 24 hrs inside the college campus.
