Remarks
-Every year different colleges in Delhi University release their cut-offs, where he/she can take admission through their 12th scorecard. If one's 12th percentage matches the college cutoff then he/she can easily go and take admission in that particular college. -Daulat Ram College is a women's college. But there are many different colleges in the University of Delhi that are co-ed. -One very important reason to take admission in this particular college is that this college is situated in the University's main campus where we can enjoy good campus life with a good amount of exposure. -Daulat Ram College provides an all-around exposure with a friendly environment, different societies for extracurricular activities, and helpful teachers. One can have a beautiful time here with great memories and lifetime friendships.
Course Curriculum Overview
- Currently, I'm pursuing a History major. My ardent interest in history and past events lead me to take up History as my major. - The teachers are helping, provided one really takes interest, reads a lot, and asks questions. There are many tutorials where teachers clear our doubts. - We are given assignments, we also have to give presentations at times. - Exams are held twice a year.
Internships Opportunities
- Various internships related to digital marketing, content writing, teaching, photography, management, graphic designing, social work etc. are provided in our college. - One can take good opportunity of these according to their interests in the field.
Placement Experience
- Students from arts backgrounds mostly go for higher studies and some for competitive examinations. - However, there is an active placement cell in our college through which art students can apply for internships which will eventually help us grow our skills. Some even get good placements. - The highest package of last year's art students was 7 lacs per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
- The fees of the course are average. However one can get fees concession by applying through caste certificates etc. - The fee concession procedures are discussed by the teacher if one wants to apply. - College provides various internships if anyone is interested can apply.
Campus Life
- The annual fest of our college is named Manjari. Which is held every year in the month of March. The fest is a great time to chill and relax with friends. - Our college library is a great place where one can avail numerous books of need. - Sports and societies are very active in our college. And one can participate and get huge exposure through it. From dance to debating society to fashion and photography society.
