Remarks
While filling the registeration form make sure that there is no such error. Careless behaviour may bring problem in future. While filling the admission form I opt for 5 subjects, Just in case cutoffs did not match my percentage then atleast I had an option. People sitting near the admission helpdesk will provide you a token and then there will be seniors to take you to the room where admission will be going on. The admission will verify the 10th and 12th marksheet. Actually there was spelling mistake in my 10th marksheet so I faced some problem and then I have told get a signed affidavit. I took admission during the 1st cut-off, it required 95.7% for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
Daulat Ram College has the best faculty. I never wanted to be in a women's college but as I didn't get admission to any good college and my interest in political science brought me here. Initially, I regretted being here but slowly I found more exposure and I realized that a women's college can develop your personality in a much better way than a co-ed college. Du is all about regular assignments, classes, exams, and fests. Exams are always taken twice a year. And unit test twice every semester.
Internships Opportunities
I never applied for any internship provided by the college. So I can't say much about it. The internships are mostly done by commerce students as they have to seek a carrier in the commercial sector. I wanted to pursue a master's in public policy. So I was preparing for entrances.
Placement Experience
From 1st year only students become eligible for campus placement. Though they won't get higher packages . In their third year, they may get packages upto 20 lacs. We have a placement cell in our College that brings more than 30 companies every year and they select skilled and creative students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for my course was 15,880 per year. No extra amount was charged. Though if you are an outsider you'll have to pay 1,20,000 per year minimum towards lodging and fooding . There is a scholarship scheme for poor students . They receive a fee exemption of 10,000 /year. National scholarship portal it also provides scholarship to students with 95%.
Campus Life
Our College has a lot of societies, cells, and organizations. It includes fashion societies, theatre groups, debating society, Nss, NSO, NCC. We have a small library in a bad condition that requires construction. In terms of infrastructure, it's really bad. There are plenty of opportunities for people interested in sports.
